“Arrived 9 minutes before close on Thursday, November 30th, 2023 and the doors were locked. The lady at the register with a baby blue sweatshirt just glanced at the door.I know it was close to their closing time, but I went back to see if the glass item I didn’t buy earlier that day was still available. If locking the doors 10 minutes before close is the norm, stating that on the hours would be nice to know.Thank you.”
“Great Store! High End furniture brands at really good prices! You won't find a better price anywhere in the Des Moines area. The staff and sales associates there go to great lengths to assure that your satisfied. Also you can consign your high quality furniture, etc there and it is usually sells quickly!5 Stars!”
“This place is flipping AWESOME!!!GREAT stuff at fantastic prices. Way way better than any other thrift store in the metro area! Wonderful, helpful staff who seem to always smile and have a sunny disposition! Found multiple pairs of jeans and shorts ( as well as a quality quilt) that were actually CLEAN, no worries of tears or stains with prices that haven't been seen since 1995. Lol. Don't go anywhere else. Stop here first!!Oh and the proceeds go to a worthy cause.. p.s. no sales tax.”
“Not a bad location — I thought they had a decent selection of items, but nothing top tier. Definitely understaffed, as others have said. I did have to wait in the check out line to ask for a fitting room key, and thankfully the line wasn’t terrible or I wouldn’t have. The employees were super kind about it, though.”

“This store is so easy to shop, very organized. They have good variety Furnature, housewares, books, home decor, kitchenware, lots of clothing section for plus size to infant, toys. A litte bit of everything.”
“I always find something I need here. Prices have gone up again but a few things were actually priced cheaper than before so that was a nice surprise. This store offers 25 percent off on Tuesdays for seniors over 55.”
“Always unbelievable values, customer service the workers are at least a bee maybe a b+
Hey it is a thrift store so I think we have to make a few allowances.”
“I’ve since changed my ratings from. 3 to 4 because the cashier below seems to be I;better moods these days. Loren is always helpful. And she absolutely goes the extra mile .My original testimony is below.I have been a literal life long customer. What turned into a necessity as a child turned into a hobby and my favorite way to find things I need.On 5/26/21 at 4:10 pm on register 2 with Melissa ended my very pleasant shopping experience on a bad note. Melissa was literally the worst associate I’ve ever ran into at your stores, and I’ve been to them Across the country. She first didn’t speak loud enough to me when I was asking standard customer inquiries. I’m fact she tried not to respond using words at all and instead made “ mhm”, “ mm mmm” responses. Then she told me my card failed when in fact it was YOUR machine that failed causing me to be embarrassed in front of a long line and full store. she didn’t even feel the apologize for HER error and obvious inability to use your cash register. Training suggested. She also didn’t even hand me my receipt but instead made sure to hand it to the next customer in line. I assume just because we knew one another. Epic fail regarding my expectations. I will lastly like to end with this suggestion; organization may be helpful in the home section, which would make sense next to the furniture. But also pricing is very… inconsistent and incomplete.Because your store does not sell items without price tags, it may help to put price tags on more of the items so that disappointment doesn’t happen consistently.”
