“This is my favorite thrift store, hands down. I always have an enjoyable time in store. With that said, I am feeling more and more disheartened and disappointed lately to go in and see things that used to be priced at $1-$2 now being priced at $5-$7 or more. I’ve been a dedicated shopper for many years, but seeing a used toy being resold at $45? That makes me sad, and it makes it so you’re beginning to price out your customers. Even the loyal ones. There are undoubtedly still great prices on some things! But the pricing discrepancies and variations just from a year ago… it’s a lot. Not to mention that the Cedar Falls and Grundy stores seem to charge even more! I will continue supporting, but I can’t say that I will buying nearly as much or often due to pricing surges.”

“My wife and I went in a few days ago and the place looks so different. things were easier to find and the prices were reasonable. The woman at the counter was very friendly and thoughtful as well. We purchased several books and she seemed excited about one book specifically. She was easy in conversation and even gave us a pin with books on it. It was refreshing to have a charismatic employee.
We were impressed by the store update and the friendliness of staff. would recommend this goodwill to others.”
