Briggs Woods Campground offers a picturesque and family-friendly camping experience. The campground features full hookup sites with 50-amp service and a rock base, providing a level and comfortable setup. Guests can enjoy partial shade and ample space to roam, including grassy areas and a small playground with swings and a slide. The campground is known for its cleanliness, quietness, and peaceful atmosphere, even with the occasional sighting of baby barred owls at night. While the walk from the cabins to the showers may be a bit challenging due to stairs and bridges, the better-smelling bathrooms located further away are a pleasant alternative. Briggs Woods Campground is a dog-friendly destination, offering plenty of room for walking pets on the grass or rock road. Visitors can also take advantage of the numerous picnic areas, shelters, and the on-site barn that can be rented for events. The campground boasts beautiful natural features, including cascading waterfalls, a plethora of trails, and a large, scenic campground. Although the proximity to a busy highway may create some noise, the overall experience is highly enjoyable, with ample opportunities for fishing, picnicking, and exploring the park's diverse landscapes.
Nice hosts were helpful locating an open spot for our big rig. Walk-up available on a Friday night..... Water, sewer, and 50 amp $34/night. Nice walking trails and golf course. 👍

Nice campground with a lake and boat dock . Multiple bathrooms wonderful view of the stars at night. Two playgrounds for the children to enjoy .

It was a hot day and I was tired. But it is a nice park. A small lake, good camping, trees with walking paths.
