Elohim (God) led us to an exit in Iowa that provided shelter, food and Noel Automotive. HE did provide, HIS Grace was sufficient. “My husband and myself came from Canton, Illinois. He had to have a difficult procedure performed at the University Iowa Health Care Hospital. We came to Iowa the night before his surgery. When we got to the hospital the next morning, our car died pulling into the parking lot! Here we were 150 miles from home and our car wouldn't start! My husband's surgery started at 7am. It was left up to me to find out about our car. I came across Hanson Automotive. They had good reviews and was fairly close to the hospital. I took a chance and called the business.
The man that answered the phone was so understanding! He told me that he would contact a towing company for me to get our car towed to him. It wasn't 10 minutes later, the towing company called me and said that they would be there asap! Mr Hanson called me back to make sure that i was contacted by the towing company. The towing company came and got our car, they took it to HANSON AUTOMOTIVE INC. He called me 3 hours later, first he asked about my husband, then our car. He told us that it was the serpentine belt and the battery. He wanted to make sure that it wasn't something else that caused the serpentine belt to malfunction, before he gave the car back to us.
He called later that day and said that he was confident that it was fixed and ready to make the 150 mile trip back home. I told him that we weren't going to be discharged until 2 days later. He said not to worry. The next day I began trying to figure out a way to get our car. He said not to worry, he then told me that he would pick me up asap and bring me to our car. He did just that!
We arrived at his place of business, once again he explained what had happened with the car and how the billing system was set up. I paid the bill, which by the way was extremely reasonable! Being a woman who knows nothing about cars, he could of taken total advantage of me when it came time to pay the bill. He didn't! I would highly recommend this business to anyone! Mr Hanson, you are the best! Thank you for being so thoughtful, nice, sincere and honest!
