“I've had all my vehicles serviced and repaired at Washburne Repair for several years and couldn't be happier with the work they have done each and every time. The owner and other mechanics are skilled, honest and believe in doing a job the right way at a very fair price. Would highly recommend this company!”

“I bought a new set of tires from Bauer Built earlier this month, and they were great to work with in every respect -- professional, punctual, good-humored and down-to-earth. And when I stopped by this afternoon to have them retorque the lug nuts, I was in and out in about 5 minutes! So, if you're in the market for new tires, I highly recommend that you visit Bauer Built and allow Tahnee the opportunity to provide a quote. Besides the first-rate customer service, their prices were very competitive; plus, your purchase includes free tire rotations!”

“These folks were true professionals from the start. Thorough estimate, good communication and friendly.I chose to have insurance go through them for the repair. As a result, they called when they were ready, I dropped off the van, got a call about a week later and we were done! The repair looks great. I hope we never need their services again, but I will certainly seek them out if we do. Highly recommend.Services: Painting”

“I am VERY grateful to the good folks at Schlueter's for the service I received during a recent trip through Iowa. I was going to Des Moines to visit my mom in the hospital when my 12-year-old Subaru just quit in the middle of the highway. After limping to the next exit, I called the nearest repair shop, which turned out to be Schluter's. I got a tow to Schluter's, and from that point they took care of me. They correctly diagnosed a bad alternator, and promised to have my car ready in two days. And they did it. When I returned from Des Moines three days later, my car was ready to go for my drive back to Indiana. It was great to have such calm, professional service during an emotionally tough time for me. Thanks a million to Schluter's.Steve MannheimerService: General repairs & maintenance”

“Luke had a car come in to Shottenkirk that I had test driven the same model before. I had settled on another model that was due to arrive in November. Luke remembered how much that I liked the safety features and comfort of the Kia Forte. Luke contacted me to see if I would like to take another look at Forte, because he had one on the lot. I was overjoyed. It was like Luke read my mind. I told Luke to hold it for me, and we made plans to buy the car. In preparation, Luke had all of the financing, detailing and aftermarket work completed before we arrived. The sale process was seamless and perfect. We couldn't be any happier with the experience. It was no less than great!”

“As you know shopping for a vehicle is a big deal, I've had the same car for 11 years, since then have gotten married and had a child. Safety was number one. We decided to finally upgrade. We went to Shottenkirk in West Burlington, Iowa to purchase a new vehicle. After a few months of scoping out vehicles. We/I fell in love with a 2016 Lincoln MKX, it had all the safety features, on top of comfort and luxury we were looking for. We found out that it needed a new transmission, at first I was hesitant, but they assured us once we got a new one it would work perfectly fine. Well, we got a new (remanufactured) since ford don't make new transmissions for this model anymore, within a few days of getting it back, it started causing us issues, so we brought it back, they looked into it and sent it back to us as "fixed", well within a week it acted up again. Every time the vehicle was switched into gear it felt as if we were hitting a tree. Thank goodness we purchased the "extended warranty" as it was a used vehicle. At this point I purchased the vehicle about 3 weeks prior too and had only taken possession for approximately a week total, back to the shop it went, they found out there were internal issues with the "new" transmission, they tried fixing it and the same issue kept occurring. With the warranty they did provide us a vehicle to use while the car was being looked at. 3 months go by, and still no vehicle. Obviously I became very frustrated, I was making monthly payments and still had not taken possession of my new vehicle. Ford refused to provide a new transmission, but the Shottenkirk team General manager Troy and our salesman Matt worked hard to make this right with us. They were able to get us another transmission using my warranty, took about 4 months total, but they got the job done. Finally I got my car back, of course driving on pins and needles just waiting for it to act up again. Had it for a week and a half and.. boom it happened again. I contacted the General manager, Troy immediately. He said we are going to make this right and trade you out with something else. By the time my lunch break came around I had a vehicle I was possibly interested in waiting in the parking lot for me to test drive. We decided to move forward and get the vehicle. Not only did Shottenkirk lose money on the deal, they truly just wanted the customers satisfaction and for us to be happy. They worked with our original term plan and made everything darn near the same, provided a newer vehicle with less miles, no transmission issues , and made Darn sure it was a vehicle that we would drive off the lot and be happy with. They were constantly professional, compassionate of our situation, and truly wanted the best for us. We couldn't feel more grateful for the wonderful team out at Shottenkirk. Yes it took patience, and a few moments of feeling very frustrated. But we knew it was no fault of their own, it was unfortunately a recall on the vehicle that just simply couldn't be corrected. I still have a Lincoln, had to part with some of the features I enjoyed with the original purchase, but it's going to be a safe vehicle for my son and family. I would highly recommend working with this great team of employees and management the next time your in the market for a new vehicle, and will only do my future purchases through them. Thank you Troy and Matt for all of your hard work, it definitely did not go unnoticed. We are very appreciative for you taking the time to make things right with this crazy unlucky time. But in the end, it all worked out!”

“This is a review of their service department. I was from Burlington and go back frequently. Had a great experience last month with regular service and saw a service bulletin for a high-voltage fuse inspection that was needed. Joel set me up for an inspection 2 weeks in advance but the part would probably need to be ordered. Showed up and Joel and Taylor took great care and when the technician saw I was one of the cars that needed the replacement doublechecked and found the part had came in, went ahead and installed it saving me another trip.I purchased my Optima from Shottenkirk in Quincy and great to know they have the same great service at both locations.”

“The initial scheduling was delayed, but my vehicle was repaired in 1 day, and I was able to rent a replacement right through their dealership. Easy pick up/drop off.”
