They never answer their phone. Their robot on the phone line never gives you help you need their own employees arnt even on their phone registry to get in contact with. Unless you show up in person your SOL.

Truly a bunch of over paid people that refuse to answer the phone so they don't have to do any work. If you drive up to this office there are always employees standing around just talking to each other and not answering phones I live an hour away going there every time I have a question is not feasible. It's a dam shame how worthless our government employees are but yet they benefit greatly for a job they don't do.

Why won't anyone pick up their phone?! I have a real problem that's preventing me from filing my unemployment claim for the past month yet nobody picks up the phone. Your office messed up my paperwork, and your office has to fix it, yet every time I call it's like talking to a toddler with his fingers shoved in his ears. Just an endless loop of the automated robot voice, and getting hung up on. How about you get a real phone system with real humans?! Or better yet have people working there that can remember 4 numbers correctly.

Nobody will pick up their phone here! This has been a nightmare. I can't certify my weekly job claims because someone at that office couldn't enter the last four digits of my social security right on a piece of paper so i haven't been able to collect for over a month. I lost my job because the Iowa Wesleyan college shut down. Now i'm loosing my mind because these people can't get 4 numbers correct on a piece of paper or know how to operate a phone. Hint hint when its ringing, especially when i call thirty times in a row THAT MEANS PICK UP THE PHONE!!!

Considering my circumstances and the stress I’m going through financially Melissa was very unprofessional and uncompassionate of my situation. Very rude and really acted like she didn’t want to help me.

They were very helpful. They help me sign in even though I didn't have an appointment. They answered all my questions. Lisa was very pleasant and didn't judge my questions at all knowledgeable.

Had Tried several times to talk to a real person for a newspaper article. None of the choices fit, and there is no "dial 0 for operator." But received quick call back for help.

First of all the new look is okay, it is layed out nice, and is very up to date and modern looking. Staff does seem helpful at first, but very rushy like to get you out of there, I was explaining my experience and job duties on a job history, and the lady walked up and said that I was taking to long and that the system would automatically boot me out and I would have to do it all over again if I didn't speed things up. I didn't know less experience on job duties was a good thing, I also didn't know that more duties and tasks performed at a job was a bad thing. Yeah, the job I was explaining was a universal worker, and I'm not kidding, I had well over 25 different duties and many tasks to complete in a shift at this in particular job. I really was trying to come up with the right words and kinda brag myself up some for reference later, but nope, don't put too much information in the system, it will throw you out for being too good. What a crock of poop! Get real, if this lady doesn't like her job, and can't learn some respectful manners, I kinda think she should go, we're already down and out about employment statuses and such, but no, just go ahead make a guy feel even more less important cause you are rushing me out. Never heard of anyone ever getting automatically booted out of the system there, and if it does, look out for you know who, no names mentioned. I did get approved for unemployment benefits, but no thanks to the crab that was working that day. Overall experience was nice only cause of the new layout and updated equipment.
