On site management is amazing. Jeff is great and understanding. All the office gals are sweet and helpful except for Kathy, her trashy, unprofessional attitude is ignorant. Since she’s so perfect I hope she doesn’t ever fall on hard times.

This is a place that is affordable, available, and they have a 7 day grace period to pay your rate. That's awesome considering money is tight nowadays, and you might need that extra week to get to your next check. LoL thank you Menards self storage you've been a great help.

One star only because I can't leave zero Menards in West Burlington Iowa ... They are overstaffed with apparently minimal tasks to complete. For example paid customer returned to interior of store to retrieve a fellow customer and on the return to the point of purchase was stopped while trying to exit. Said customer who had already paid had receipt in hand and was confronted. Told to hand over said item in question. Customer presented an already unzipped purse with receipt to item in hand and was still not giving up an apology for the accusal which was proven to be false and misinformed. So zero Stars is the actual rating on this establishment with the establishment also losing customers of many years

Very high priced and leaks pools of water. Will be looking for another unit elsewhere. Pics of the pools of water after it rained. Am in the large end units outside. Please check Menards storage policy on damage. When you get unit the company policy makes you to give up rights to sue so they can't be held accountable for their neglect. This means as soon as you pay for the unit you are agreeing that Menards is not responsible for your items. Perhaps when Menards starts losing significant amounts of business they will fix the issue or change their policy. You do have the option of calling an inspector as being in the city and a business there are structural codes that they are required to follow.

Unit was broken into. Was told by employee that surveillance video is really grainy. Why do I have better cameras on my house than Menards has? Do they not make enough money? This has become a common issue, and Menards still hasn't hired a guard to protect our storage units. They brag about all the security features they have to get you to rent a unit, then this happens. Employee was nice and sympathetic, but Menards has turned into a typical penny-pinching corporation. Do not do business here until they get a guard on the premises overnight.

About the Storage that Menards runs. The snow melt completely ruined half of what i owned. There was deep standing water in totes and anything else that could hold water. I lost thousand and thousands of dollars worth of items including pictures, taxes and sentimental things. When I mentioned this I was told that I rent at my own risk. While I can understand this, keeping water off your things is the number one duty of a storage. my stuff would have been better off uncovered sitting in a field than what was done to me.

This place is a joke. In a pin-coded secure facility with cameras we had two twenty pound propane tanks stolen off our camper that were connected, clamped down, and had a cover. Then they had the nerve to raise rent by 10 bucks a month after. And don't forget to pay for the 28 day notice required, even though your camper is not there, or they'll tack on another $20 in late fees. Find somewhere else! I'd give them a zero if possible.

It wasn’t an accident that we weren’t responsible for it was neglect and Menards is responsible for that there’s no way we could get mud all over the floor that came under the door if they would’ve fix the roof instead of building a brand new place it would’ve been better or if they would have told us when we rented it now you might want to put the flooring in you might want to color with tarps you might want to do this but they never said a word not one single word except to another employee at the Menards store which I’m very upset about because that’s nobody and I mean nobody else’s business but mine and the lady that I willI rented the storage unit from I do not appreciate my business about anything being talked about to another employee one that doesn’t even work at the storage unit and her remark was not true whatsoever so I’m a little upset and I think somebody needs compensated for that me

Beware of their 11% rebate program. You have to mail in the rebate application, and if you receive a rebate, it can't be used at Menards.com. If the item you purchased was on sale, it isn't eligible for the rebate. There is currently a class action lawsuit against Menards, based on their deceptive rebate program. It's 2020, Menards. Let your customers apply for rebates online, and be up front about what is eligible for a rebate, and what isn't.

Horrible customer service!! Facility is clean and easy to enter but management made sure I will never use their facilities again. I spoke with the site manager as well as corporate regarding the timing of a unit no longer being in use. Even though it was proven the unit was empty, I still was charged two full months. The service representative was incredibly rude, cut me off several times and offered no resolution to the discrepancy.
