This is a review of their service department. I was from Burlington and go back frequently. Had a great experience last month with regular service and saw a service bulletin for a high-voltage fuse inspection that was needed. Joel set me up for an inspection 2 weeks in advance but the part would probably need to be ordered. Showed up and Joel and Taylor took great care and when the technician saw I was one of the cars that needed the replacement doublechecked and found the part had came in, went ahead and installed it saving me another trip.I purchased my Optima from Shottenkirk in Quincy and great to know they have the same great service at both locations.

The price of a car on their website went up $900+ dollars while I was out test driving it. Staff said it was the fault of the Quincy branch. I didn't buy the car and will not visit their lot again.

My mom and step-dad, Judy and LLoyd, purchased a new Kia Soul from Shottenkirk in West Burlington. They're older and were taken advantage of in every part of the transaction. We'll do a list:1: They were charged $2000 over retail when Kia Souls are not being sold at $2000 over retail. They were told that was a good deal.2. They were told that the warranty "service contract" was very good with the Kia. If you're familiar with Kian warranties they're some of the best in the industry. The warranty was sold told them for $4500. That's a 400% mark up over cost.3.They were also sold other products they don't need totalling $95004. They were also under the impression they would be bringing a check from their local bank to purchase the vehicle, but instead were instead signed up with Green State Credit Union.5. When I called them about their unethical behavior they simply told me it must be a misunderstanding.

I have bought from them on two occasions. They would not negotiate AT ALL; and the second time I was buying two vehicles! Both times they kept twisting things around to make it sound like they were negotiating! (multiple times I was told "I'm going to go talk to my manager." and this happened on both the 2016 and 2020 purchases) It was unfortunate that they had exactly what I needed/wanted and I was in a bind as my previous car was totaled. I know, I should have just walked out! I love KIAs but will never by from Shottenkirk again ~ ever!KIA service is good, but it's usually quite a wait.. Sales department leaves A LOT to be desired!

Was interested in a Kia Sorento PHEV and called with interest in purchasing. After agreeing to everything, I find out they are charging $3,000 over MSRP. I understand supply and demand but charging over MSRP isn't right. "Somebody will pay it" is what they told me. I don't like to deal with businesses like this and supporting them doing price gouging above the manufacturer's recommendation is something I won't do. I was able to find the same vehicle for MSRP in the Des Moines area and recommend you do the same thing.

Excellent customer service.I was there to change oil for VW Jetta.After seeing the details of the mileage and related computerized technical requirements, by going extra miles in setting up the digital aspects of it, I was given a highly commendable customer service which I do not take it for granted, really!In the past, I was/will never be disappointed with KIA because, my old KIA spectra of 2003 has no issues , even after a mileage of 162K.I would like to see KIA , spectra asap-back to production.GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU !
