Have had a pretty good experience up until recent. There were a few times in the past that at a certain location, my purchase wasn't being approved. Finally after the 4th or 5th time(over the course of a year or so) of calling in to get it temporarily fixed, it took going to the main branch, talking to someone personally to get it figured out and resolve the issue. Now out of nowhere on Saturday, purchases are not being allowed to be made with no logical reason and there is NO ONE to contact. If this was my only means to my money, I'd be possibly stranded until Monday morning. I feel that although this is a small "local" company, there should never be a time that contact can't be made to someone regarding an issue such as this. I was drawn to the perks of having my bank open at times that other banks aren't but have only needed to take advantage of that a couple times in 3 years.

This is my favorite location to do business at. Katie, Leah and staff are friendly, helpful, patient and knowledgeable. You can't beat the hours and it's convenient when running errands.

Banked at this location for last 3 years. On 3 separate occasions the teller miscounted my deposits by $100 and 2 months ago a different teller deposited $1400 of my money into someone else's account. Mistakes happen and I understand that but the manager on duty basically called me a liar and I came back later with my paycheck stubs and they looked again, realised that the bank was at fault and then never apologized for the error. My issue is not with the bank itself but with the staff. I shouldn't have to question whether or not my money makes it into my account or feel like I'm being judged and I should have received an apology. This location has upset me enough that I'm over it and will be closing my account. Many terrible experiences here that could have cost myself a bunch of money at no fault of my own and no apologies were ever received for any of these incidents. Unreliable, unprofessional, unnecessarily stressful.

Heritage gets 5 stars from me. The manager and staff worked very hard to help me. There were several issues going on with my account. They all worked together with me and got it resolved. I would recommend this bank to anyone. They listen and work with you to get the issue cleared up. Thank You Midwest Heritage staff in Des Monies, Iowa.

I liked how the bank Klerk was very nice remeberd my name very early in the year I was banking there I had 3 account's ,was confusing at times but them ladies was patient with me and handled it I'm recommending going back they go above and beyond to get the satisfaction I deserve as a business man

I've banked with them for more than 11 years. Do not bank with them! They're magicians; they can magically make a "deposit" empty your bank account.
