We discovered the Welcome Inn years ago on our way to Galena. Now we often head there while skiing and staying in Galena itself. A welcome change from some of the more touristy places in town. The soup and Salad Bar is always fresh and included with most meals. My daughters enjoyed their salmon and prime rib and I had the Rib and crispy fried chicken combo on our last visit. We didn't save room for the Greek style rice pudding which is always yummy. Just a down to earth unpretentious place. Cozy.

I have great respect for both the owner and bartenders here. They really try to make your visit pleasant. Interactive bartenders make the bar and the folks are the best.
