The bacon-wrapped sirloins are excellent, tender, and juicy, hand-wrapped behind the counter at a good price. The in-house bakery creates delicious and beautiful-looking desserts, breads, and cookies, with a notable white loaf. Products are arranged well and the store offers easy checkout. It is a wonderful store with a huge selection of grocery items.
Always a great experience. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Hands down my favorite store. Still feeling that way several years later.

Great prices and great butcher shop. Minus 1 star for produce. Might just be Winterset store and lack of produce handling knowledge

Great meat department. I was doing a stuffed pork loin on the smoker. I asked them where I can buy butcher string. I told him how many feet I needed and he just cut some up, folded it a d wrapped it, no charge. Great family friendly place.
