“Awesome local business. First visit was Good Friday, April 7, 2023. Spontaneous idea to buy flowers for a friend. Young lady greeted us with a smile. Had a beautiful arrangement already in a vase in the cooler at an incredibly reasonable price. Sold! The owner arrived as we were leaving and was friendly and pleasant. We will definitely be back. Check this place out. They offer much more than just flowers. Excellent experience.”

“I went to White Cottage Market for the 1st time today and thoroughly enjoyed looking around. They have many cool and unique pieces, I went home with a few but would have loved to take home many more! The prices seemed much more reasonable than the local antique shops. “Fast, reliable shipping to my overseas military address in Japan! Recently I found of a pair of navy blue Liverpool Los Angeles parachute pants at the military exchange here in Yokosuka Japan. I loved them and bought them right away. I looked up the company and saw that the pants came in black too. Liverpool Los Angels wouldn't ship to me, Bloomingdales and Nordstrom only had them in the navy blue that I already had. A lot of companies won't ship to military APO/FPO because you have to use the post office instead of UPS.I kept searching for the pants, and I cam across Spoons Full of Sugar Boutique. I was a little hesitant, but I figured it would be fine. I really liked that the person modeling the pants was a person in the store, and not the company photo shoot.Pants shipped right away with tracking number and got to me within a week which is pretty standard military mail.Thank you so much for shipping to me! “Every time I go in here, Im amazed at all the amazing things Shirley has for her customers. This time I stepped in the door and there they were--2 beautiful sets of candles, one green, one gold, shaped like many petaled chrysanthemums. Just gorgeous. And reasonably priced. She has a dibs and dabs of everything.Some lovely silver jewelry, scarves, scented creams, antique dishes, a candy counter where I buy chocolate cashew grizzlies for my husband every time I make the 250 mile drive to see my sister.She always has interesting clothing in most sizes. There are tee shirts for local sights. She carries several lines of figurines. And if seasonal is your wish, you can find that as well.Shirley and Mildred, the resident gold fish in the antique punch bowl, always know when shoppers are reading the cards for sale by the chuckles.I never miss a chance to visit the Mercantile in Winterset each time I come east to see my sis.”
