About Lone Oaks Farm
Lone Oaks Farm is a family-owned acreage of rolling hills and timber near Winterset, Iowa. We're committed to keeping our land wild and restoring natural Iowa prairie. In 2016, we relocated an 1850s German-style, hand-hewn barn to our land. Today, we host seasonal farm-to-table dinners with renowned chefs. Our dinners feature locally sourced ingredients, many of which are grown right on our property. Lone Oaks Pottery reflects my love of the land, prairie restoration, and preserving history. Some work is made with clay harvested from our property, candles contain beeswax from our hives, and some pieces have impressions of native grasses and flowers.
