“5 stars! On a cross country trip, pulling a TearDrop with my little Mazda CX3, my battery died on a Sunday night at Covered Wagon RV park in Abilene. I was worried my alternator went out as there was a clicking sound - I disconnected my battery. I was told John's service was the AAA tow co. for Abilene KS. Called Monday morning and was told they were no longer with AAA but it would cost $85 to tow my car to Holm Service (AAA approved). OK, fair price. I said I'd start with AAA. Wasted 3 hrs of my life on the phone with AAA (they're a shell of their former self - service is abysmal) Called John's again and they sent Tim. He arrived in less than 30 mins. I described everything that had happened. Tim said the clicking was most likely my alternator BUT it was a "safe" mode. He said a jump may do it. It worked. He advised me to let it run for 30 min to charge. He charged $65 (no tow) and he gave me good info. He thought carrying a battery charger with me for the rest of my trip (6 weeks) was a good idea. I'm a 65 y/o woman. My late first husband was a mechanic. I truly appreciate honest helpful mechanics. They are as important to our society as all the other first responders. (I'm a retired nurse) Thank you.”
“A great place to go, one of the few Ol' boys left that just does the work and isn't looking to up sell you or screw you out of a dollar. Still has business values and serving the community. Started the repair early and finished early and even fixed another problem that was found all accomplished early!! He didn't even complain about the extra fix :)”
“I had a vibration in the rear of my car. They took it for a test drive and found the problem. So I had them fix it. They did a great job and was reasonably priced. I will go back. Thank you Guys ?. Very satisfied!!”

“I'm not from this area, and when your in an out of town place it's hard to find a good mechanic/shop. I hit a coyote on interstate 70, called Holt Motors and Fred worked me in right away knowing I was practically stranded. They had me fixed and realigned in less than 2 hours. As a fellow mechanic I can see and recognize they do quality work and for a very fair price. These guys set the standard for what other shops should strive for. ?”

“Amazing crew. Needed to get a tire repaired and put back on as soon as I got there so I wouldn't be late to a funeral. Several plans had failed that caused me towait 6hrs for the donut, so once I got to them I only had about 20 mins to spare. Made it there on time!”

“They ordered tires for us and got them in next day, set an appointment and mounted and balanced the next day also....for cheaper than the other 3 places we called. We waited on them, and they had the truck done about 30 minutes after they pulled it in.”
