About Jeffcoat Photography Studio Museum
Jeffcoat Photography Studio Museum is an absolutely splendid and fascinating tiny museum in historic downtown Abilene. It is a nice, free museum with a comprehensive collection of Kodak cameras and other equipment. It covers the history of photography and cameras while documenting the city and its people's history. The museum is small and a quick visit, taking maybe 10 to 40 minutes to see. The staff is very friendly, informative, and nice. A small annoyance is that camera descriptions are in a separate book. Overall, it is worth the time.

Enjoyed this quick visit museum. We could have spent about 30-40 minutes here but we got there about 20mins before closing time (they did not rush us tho). Amazing job of photos documenting the city and its peoples history!

We enjoyed this small museum. It does take maybe 10 to 15 mins to go through. The lady that works there was very nice, talked to my children and explained to them how everything worked.
