Alma Creamery is a wonderful little stop and a nice place to take a driving break. It is easy on and off the freeway with plenty of parking. The staff is friendly, super nice, and helpful, offering samples of their products. The cheese curds are amazing, with fresh varieties available, though some find them a little dry. Their sharp cheddar is excellent and the real thing, while the extra sharp is very "extra." They also offer white cheddar, smoked bacon jack, cranberry spread, meats, and Arbuckle mountain fried pies. The atmosphere is good, featuring a souvenir penny smasher. It is definitely worth the stop.
