“My husband and I went off the beaten path to visit The Volland Store on a road trip. After traveling 8 miles down a gravel road, we were greeted by a quaint and beautiful outpost with an impressive gallery space and outdoor theatre area. The staff greeted us warmly and we enjoyed a wonderful conversation about art, theatre, and everything in between. The Volland Store is a lovely reminder that art can be found everywhere, and was well worth the detour to experience the beauty and brevity of art in the countryside of Kansas.”
