90% of their items were over priced, for example a bottle of High West Midwinters Dram that is already expensive at MSRP of $150.00, they were asking around $350.00. I bought one at the liquor cabinet on 11-13-2024 on Greenwich and 96 for $190.00, and they will just sell items instead of hoarding items like a few stores do now for Black Friday. I’m glad I don’t go there much I’d rather drive to Augusta, Greenwich, or Webb seeing they know how to price reasonably. It’s sad people shop there especially when there are so many stores that they could save money at, and maybe help the owner figure out that they shouldn’t price things that high.
Post Update: I’m well aware of what an allocated item is and I’m guessing your implying that you get it from your distributor at different cost than your competition in your area, which would not be the case. From my understanding glazer and standard in an area charges the same, they have ordering books that list the price on them. I worked at a liquor store in Manhattan for close to five years, and looked through ours and have spoken with our owner about the exact same thing.
Telling the truth about a store is not bashing a store your cashier told me the price sir or ma’am.

Very rude staff and problematic owner (just scroll through these reviews and look at some of the owners replies to customers if you want several good examples). Also, the same people own both liquor stores in Andover now. So your best bet is to just go to either Wichita or Augusta instead unless you just want attitude and super basic options for some reason. Or the Andover Dillon's has a lot of options if you're not looking for hard liquor. They have better prices and friendly staff too.
Edit after expected rude reply from owner: Oh, don't worry. There's no way I would give any of your businesses even one cent of my money. You'll go under eventually with all of your bad business practices and someone else will move into those spots and maybe then Andover will have a decent liquor store. It's only a matter of time.

They have good selection of wines that you would want for dinner. I also prefer to pay the part of the sales tax that goes to Butler County and Andover since I live in Andover. The staff there has always been great.

We love the dog, but the owner is gender bias, and he is rude to vendors in front of customers he acts better than everyone

The people are friendly, and the selection is good, however my one complaint is pricing is not always current. There will be one price on the sticker in front of the selection on the shelf, and when you get to the register it is higher. They always push it off as O well we just haven’t updated the computer yet, but it happens all too frequently.
