Three years I've had to deal with this postal office. Every single time they are disappointing. They are lazy, disrespectful and impatient with customers. I would give no stars if I could. Disgraceful.

It is so easy to say no, isn't it? But these folks found a way to say yes. I'm traveling south from Nebraska and had some critical parts that needed to be received ahead of me. And they found a way to make it happen. Much appreciated. Disciple james.

Being open only 1 hour on Saturday is a problem. Seems strange to me but I’m sure makes sense to someone else.

Closes half an hour early wait times are sometimes too long they are unreliable and expensive shipping postal service is getting to be where you can't trust no one those is the second time I sent off mail and it did not arrive on time your better off paying bills in person or over the phone and have to pay a fee all due to the postal service negligence.

There needs to be a negative star for this place. They will steal your stuff out of the box after you leave and go ahead and ship the damaged box with stickers that say damaged when received at each drop point..good luck getting them to step up. The usps should be shut down.

We moved into our rural Augusta home 10 years ago. We had to tell the Augusta post office on a form, who lived in our house. The form stated that the post office would not deliver any mail addressed to anyone not on the list. Boy was that a big lie. Over the years we have received mail from nearly all of our neighbors. We get mail for dead relatives and dead relatives of most of the neighbors. We regularly get mail for people who lived here before we moved in. It's so bad that they don't even deliver our own mail to us. They give a large portion of it to the neighbors and to people who live miles away from us. I seriously doubt that our carrier can actually read. You cannot even make up this level of dysfunction.

If you're patient, things get delivered according to whatever time frame has been allotted. Everybody wants their mail; but not everybody expects the mail.

You know, I've gone to this particular post office for large portions of my life. You know what it is? Typical. The hours suck and the stuff you'd be annoyed by in Maine you'd be annoyed by here. The repeatability of the US Postal Service is notable and sad, but at the end of the day the Augusta Post Office is a post office and it does what you need it to do.

This Post Office is typical. Opens at 8am. Friendly. Possibly already has your packages but doesn't scan them until the next day. So let me clarify. Your package gets there the night before or around 5am. Then they have it sorted at 8am. And out for delivery at 8:15. But sometimes they decide not to sort it until the next day. So you have to guess as to weather or not they have it. Then you have to get there at 8am sharp or else it will be in some mailpersons truck. This wouldn't be an issue if mail arrived at a decent hour. But not the good ol Augusta POS Office, oh no. They like to take hours upon hours to complete routes. Expect your package after dark unless you're fortunate enough to live at the start of a route.
