As a single mom of an extreme medical complex special needs child this place has been heaven sent. My youngest has a laundry list of things and requires a lot of therapy. From the front desk of Amber who helps me juggle all the appointments and therapy accordingly to always being so positive on the phone, to every therapist and individual at FPT they advocate well, they listen, they help overcome hard moments and even hard days. Megan and Taylor have helped so much with advocacy and helping me find things or even a special needs stroller/wheelchair to help her. They'll meet you where your at and help your child transition in or out or even putting clothes on to come inside. To add to this my oldest has ADHD and dyslexia which is minor compared to her sister but even with what she deals with Leah has been so helpful along with Patrick helping her regulate emotions, transitions, learning some reading strategies and helping her navigate her hard moments.

I cannot speak highly enough about this place, especially Maggie! My daughter started at a month old & just graduated yesterday. Maggie has been amazing throughout the entire process & I know we will miss our weekly sessions!

I absolutely love this company! The way that they talk to me about my child after ever visit and they explain everything that they have worked on with my child. The front desk ladies are welcoming and inviting. They talk to me like we have been friends for a long time. The therapist truly have a special place in their hearts for each one of their friends that they see and you can definitely tell when they are done playing with them. They are always coming up with creative ways to help and teach a child whatever they need to work on. They take time out to listen to my questions or concerns when it comes to my child. Everyone has made me and my family feel welcome. Everyone has made my child happy and I know that they are always making sure he gets 100% when he is with them.
I have even asked about IEP information. Let me tell you they really know their stuff. They give me advice as to how I can go about a situation with the school or even explain what the school went to fast on to me. Those meeting go by way to fast sometimes. Lol but they answer my questions.
While I sit there and wait for my child, it makes my heart so happy to see so many smiling faces coming back to their parents after working with their therapist and so much excitement for the next child when it is their turn to go back. I would definitely recommend this place.

I am extremely frustrated with FUNctional Pediatric Therapy. I brought my son here for two evaluations — one for occupational therapy and one for speech therapy — and received a shocking bill for $880+. When I contacted them about the charges, I was told I hadn’t met my deductible, which I understood, but when I asked about their cash price, I was quoted a much lower amount of around $200 plus. Instead of billing me at that rate, they charged my insurance a staggering $671.06 for OT and $358.49 for speech therapy. (This amount was given to me by my insurance company)
I reached out to my insurance company, and they told me the charges could potentially be reversed, but when I called FUNctional Pediatric Therapy to ask about this, I was told they “don’t do that.” Their refusal to correct the charges, combined with the inflated prices they billed, has made it clear that they don’t prioritize transparency or customer care. What’s worse, their initial insistence on scheduling my son for therapy twice a week has now become impossible due to the outrageous cost, which I simply cannot afford.
Sadly, this experience has lost them my business. I will not be returning, and I would caution others to carefully review their billing practices before committing to any services.

The owner and staff are so fantastic and have hearts of gold. They truly care about the well-being of their clientele and know their material! They have such an inclusive atmosphere and always have the most helpful recommendations and provide so much support and feedback on progress. 10/10 recommend!

My daughter & Son both go here. We LOVE and trust Functional Pediatrics. They listen to your concerns and needs, and truly want to watch your child succeed and celebrate in their success. I’ve noticed so much improvement in the short amount of time we’ve started going. If you’re looking for a great place with great providers than look no further!

My son has made a lot of progress in a short time through speech and occupational therapy! We highly recommend functional pediatrics to anyone needing these therapies. I drive an hour to their clinic and it’s worth every minute.The therapist meet my son’s high sensory seeking needs while keeping him engaged in learning. The tools, educational toys and extra sensory lights make this clinic really stand out.I’m incredibly grateful to the staff for all of their hard work.

They genuinely care about your babies! They listen & adjust as needed to meet the ever changing needs of your littles. 10/10 recommend to anyone needing speech/OT services.

We have been using services here for 5 months. Speech with Hope and OT with Tara. Both have been absolutely wonderful. He’s made amazing progress in a short time and both teachers are patient, kind, attentive and offer great ideas on what we can do at home to help assist him! We highly recommend Functional Pediatric Therapy to anyone looking for speech, OT or PT!

Ms. Tara Hood is simply one of the best pediatric occupational therapists there is! She is knowledgeable, compassionate, and kind. Tara is great at adapting activities to make them fun and engaging for your child. She is helpful and genuine, going above and beyond to explain things to both you and your child. She ensures that your child’s therapy plan is custom and individualized to their specific needs. I can’t recommend her (and this clinic) enough.

My son receives Occupational Therapy here and we love it. The therapist works so well with him and we have seen tons of improvement since we started bringing him. We love the environment, it’s so kid friendly and my son loves coming to his therapy appointments. He especially looks forward to seeing the therapy golden retriever, feeding a carrot to the Guinea pig at the end of his session, and checking out the lizard.

Always a pleasure to work with Hope (speech) and Alison (occupational). They are so patient and wonderful with my son. He has come so far in the short time we have been going. He is always excited to go to see them! I cannot say enough great things about the staff. Strongly recommend to anyone looking for services for their kiddos!
