“My son and my dad have used Cheney Animal for several years now. I have not had my own pets there, however, my 16 year and 4 months old Chiweenie went down, and she was ready to cross that Rainbow Bridge.I didn't want her to suffer in any way. I called around to see if I could have her seen and if this was the end, to have her euthenized. Most places in and around Wichita, had no appointments or the price was not something I could afford. The prices I was quoted were from $115-$285. More if they handled the remains. But Cheney vets not only got me in there quickly, they only charged me $48! Now mind you, this was for a 12 pound fur baby. No lab work. Examination and euthenized. I dont want to give the impression that this is a flat rate or something. But they were so very kind and comforting. The Dr said Miley had a massive stroke or an undiagnosed tumor burst and it bled. They let me hold her and explained everything they were doing. They treated Miley with care and respect. And up to walking out the door, all of the staff that we came in contact with were so sympathetic. Thank you Cheney Animal Clinic for making one of the worst days of my life a bit less painful.”
