The employees are rude and would rather sit and gossip about their coworkers than do their job correctly. Today they only gave me one of my bags when I left. I didn’t know there were two bags and I had left a whole bag of things that I absolutely needed for my sick kid. I had to drive another 20 miles round trip to go back and get it, all because they wanted to talk crap about a coworker. plus the store is always packed full of crap and you can’t even get around or find anything. If I had another option closer I’d never shop there.

The employees are very kind and courteous! They are always willing to help when checking product availabilities. If I ever have an issue finding an item they stop what they are doing and promptly help find what I need! This Dollar General is the cleanest one around and always very organized. Their hard work doesn’t go unnoticed and Cherokee is VERY fortunate to have them. They have a great selection of non perishables, frozen and refrigerated foods. As well as home decor. I also like their “as seen on TV items”. Their party and bakery isle is amazing for last minute items you may need! They have a great selection of over the counter medications, soaps and children’s toys. I can’t say enough good things about the employees, the selections and cleanliness. Awesome job Cherokee DG!

The employees were so kind. My transaction didn't go thru and they were totally chill about restocking the stuff. Very polite, friendly, understanding guy and girl working here. I love the size of their stores (not too big, not too small) and in Southeast Kansas Dollar General's distribution network (they're pretty much in every town) can get you anything you need for everyday living and all at an affordable price.

The employees have no clue how to handle food. I have wondered how it is I can get so many spoiled gallons of milk from one store. Now I know. These kids need to be supervised. There is constantly problems with the coolers and the food here.

Super organized store, very helpful staff and had everything I needed in stock. Way better than driving all the way to Walmart to pay more for the same items.

The store with a little bit of a while lot. Chances are you'll find the item you're looking for, maybe you won't be familiar with the brand but you'll find stuff. Some carry a limited amount of grocery items as well.The Dollar General stores I've been in are always clean and orderly. The staff is friendly but over worked, it shows sometimes. Free parking with handicap access inside and out.
