“This is basically a "no frills" motel however the bed in my room was EXTREMELY comfortable. Seriously! It may have been the most comfortable bed in any motel I have ever stayed at. I did like that a tray for wet shoes/boots was in the room as well. To some this could seem negligible. However, I have traveled with children many times and had to deal with wet shoes too many times! I didn't see any personnel until the morning I was checking out. Oh, another plus was the "contactless" check in. I hadn't stayed anywhere that had used this method of check in but it was quite convenient. I was texted the required information after my reservation and payment information had been received--it made accessing my room extremely simple. This is a small property and doesn't have a pool. There's ample parking as well. If you like ice you should probably bring your own or buy it from the motel or one of a few places in town. But, they are gracious enough to have extra pillows and a couple warm blankets in the room--should they be desired or required. All in all it's a good place to stay--if you're not in a larger group that needs a lot of rooms because they don't have them.

Rooms: Clean rooms with large TV's and a really comfortable bed in the room I had.

Nearby activities: There's a genuine "old time" movie theater on Main Street. And there are some historic buildings in town.

Safety: Seems safe enough and the folks are extremely kind.

Walkability: Plenty walkable as the town isn't tremendously large.

Food and drinks: There are a couple convenience stores there and a grocery store in town. And there is one pizza place, one burger place and one bar and grill. Not sure what else is available.”

“The 4 stars for the rooms is only because it's actively undergoing renovations and some may not find it cosmetically appealing. That aside, I was very happy with my stay here! The bed was comfortable, the room was warm and cozy and clean! The owner is a great person to chat with, and made sure I was comfortable and responded quickly to get me batteries for the TV remote. My dog was also very comfortable staying here. I hope I get to come out this way again, because I'll definitely stay here.”
