Had a last minute need for boarding. Found this place and I was beyond impressed. Really felt like they gave my dog the care and attention one would want. And they had a impressive facility and the price was unbeatable

This place is great! We have taken our dogs on several occasions and I can tell they are always well cared for. The owners are wonderful and I wouldn’t take my dogs anywhere else. Thank you John and Amy for putting our mind at ease while vacationing.

People were friendly and facility seems like a great environment for dogs to play; unfortunately, my dogs were not fed as discussed leading to a vet bill and the business charges fees for using a card that were not disclosed prior to payment. The owner did discuss my grievances over the phone (prior to dog getting sick and needing veterinary intervention) and vowed to do better next time. (Read on for more details)I was happy to find a well-reviewed, affordable boarding facility in a location that was closer to our new home than our previous one. The owner, John, called me directly to discuss my dogs specific needs in regards to feeding and personality, discussed the options with me, and I booked their stay. I measured and labeled all food with their names and feeding instructions since my dogs eat different food and amounts (as discussed with owner) and provided a separate crate for the puppy specifically for feeding time. This was all verbally communicated with John at drop-off. At pickup, my 3 dogs were happy and all of their items were ready to go. I was surprised, however, to find my card was ran for more than the total boarding fee without my knowledge. Upon inquiry as to the higher amount charged than the bill, I was informed (by who I assume was the other owner, Amy) there was a surcharge fee for using my debit card. This information was not disclosed online or in-office and I let them know I would have appreciated knowing this before-hand as I would have happily paid by check or cash. That was simply met with a one-word apology. I was going to let it go at that, but when unpacking their belongings the next morning I noticed that none of the puppy’s food had been used, nor was much (if any) of one of the other dog’s food used. Concerned there may have been an issue that wasn’t communicated at pickup, I called to ask about both the unused food and express my issue with the undisclosed surcharge fee. This is when I was informed by John that 1) they do charge a surcharge for using cards but admittedly did not have it posted and 2) besides the puppy, my dogs did not each much the first couple days and that he did not know my dogs had separate food (something I discussed at length with him prior). So they were all fed the same thing. He said he would do better next time if I would just give them another chance. Unfortunately, the puppy started have digestive distress the next day (gas, vomiting, diarrhea, refusing to eat) and we had to have him treated by a veterinarian who determined it was very likely the food that caused his symptoms…this was confirmed when the medication cleared up his issues after several days. Now, I understand that boarding can be stressful on an animal and can cause digestive issues. However, it certainly doesn’t help (and very likely caused the issue) when detailed information that is necessary for the health and well-being of an animal is not properly recorded and/or followed. Improvements need to be made.

My dogs boarded 5 nights Happy to see me but resting. They like to visit the country, and break up the monotony of life. John had all my supplies ready for check out. They seem well cared for and tired. He caught on to their personalities.

We love this place, the dogs have a ton of room to run around. We book our 3 dogs here every time we leave town. It's a little further out from where we live but they are fantastic. They have a groomer who works with them now as well which is very nice being able to leave your dogs for a week and when you pick them up they are clean and have a fresh hair cut.
