Hours: Based on the reviews, Derby Laundry is a clean, nice little hole in the wall laundromat. It is a peaceful place to take care of any size laundry loads. The facility is a 24 hour facility with security cameras inside and of the parking lot, which made customers feel safer being out later at night. The machines are decently sized for the price and wash and dry faster than other places. The machines smelled very clean and the location is nicely taken care of. Everything looks tidy and neat, and the way the machines are arranged is appealing to the eye. However, there are some issues. No one respects the owners' message on the business doors regarding no pets permitted. Customers will not respect and follow the rules. There is also a shortage of characters that customers will run into, and homeless people do change clothes and check out forgotten clothes. The prices have been raised. The big washer costs $9.50, which some customers consider gouging. For two loads of laundry, a visit cost around $25. Aside from the expensive large washer, everything else is very reasonable. The location has several options for payments, including a pay by phone option which is extremely convenient. No staff were seen during a visit.
