From our first step in the door this hotel has more than met our expectations. The young man checking us in went was very professional at accommodating us and following policy as well. The next morning we met the owner Brent. He is a fantastic polite business man that has hospitality running in his blood.THIS IS THE BEST Hotel!Rooms: Our room was spacious, the bed was super comfortable and we loved the pillows! Nice toiletries and great towels.

The manager of this hotel went out of his way to help my family. He was so friendly and accommodating.I thought the rooms were lovely and clean. I loved the cute ways the towels were folded. The bath products were nice. And as a mom, I appreciate the large trash can in the kitchen!

This place is little, but amazing. The owner made it a point to greet me as I was checking in. I can't remember a more accommodating hotel. Keep up the great

Not great. I love staying at Best Western hotels, but this location was lacking in many ways. The room itself was OK, but the breakfast wasn’t good at all compared to other BW’s. The food quality was poor. The setup was cramped, and I had to ask the Desk Clerk if the channel could be changed to view the local news and weather forecast instead of the politically biased Fox News. Later, my wife went to grab a snack from their vending machines and nothing came out. When she asked the front desk, the lady advised this happens often, but there is nothing they can do about it. “Might need to contact Pepsi”.Bottom line… this location suffers in comparison to every other Best Western hotel we’ve stayed at.

We had a room with a kitchenette. The fridge did not work, ruining our food. (We didn't realize it at the time.) There was nothing in the kitchen to use. No dishes, cutlery, glasses/cups, towels, or even paper towels. The TV Remote worked intermittently. (Very sloppy butttons on it.)BEWARE walking your dog in the grass area. Lots of burrs with thorns! It took us forever removing them from our Shi Tzu's hair! The breakfast is over and packed away by 9:00 am. Should be at least 10:00 am, in my opinion. This hotel was highly rated and the reason we chose it. I would hesitate to recommend this hotel. Our experience was not a good one.

I unexpectedly found myself headed to Dodge City. Due to mobility requirements of a family member, I called first to ensure that our needs could be met. I was impressed that, yes, what I was requesting could be met. We were able to secure a king suite, which had a high rise toilet, grab bars for support, a recliner since getting into and out of the elevated beds is not option, the doors where 36 inch doors which accommodated wheelchairs and walkers, the suite offered two separate thermostats, which worked out very nicely for us. The service we received was exceptional, the hot breakfast made the next morning much easier to face the days activity. If I find myself in Dodge City again, this will be my go to location without question. Thank you for making a tough run much easier.

This is one of the cleanest pet friendly hotels we have stayed at. The entire place was well kept and beautiful. The owner was actually who checked us in due to short staff, he was incredibly friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend staying here!!

We've stayed at this hotel before and liked the location on the "north edge" of Dodge City. The hotel was "ok." It's a quiet area with minimal amenities. When we arrived this time, the young woman at the desk was reservedly welcoming. After going to our room, we discovered damage to the inside of the bathroom door (probably from a dog that didn't want to be locked in.) Since we were not traveling with pets, I wanted to be sure management knew it was not from us. As I left the bathroom, a floor tile that had sunk just a little, had cracked and became a tripping hazard.I reported the damage to the young woman at the front counter (stopping at the side door to the front counter, which was standing open). She said she'd 'let them know' and then promptly closed the door on us.Call me picky, but I thought this was rude. I think we'll try a different location when traveling next time.Walkability: The only places close enough to walk to for food or drink were on the south side of (4 lane) Hwy 50. It's a busy enough road that we didn't want to cross. There's a Wendy's and a Phillips 66 just to the east of the hotel, but I'd drive. There was a small coffee shop that we could've walked to, however, they were closed.
