Very rude staff. Room was a wreck. Hole in the ceiling over the bathtub. Broken doors on closet. Clogged sink. Both chairs have broken springs. Needed a couple of paper plates for our pizza and front desk refused to to help. Will NEVER stay there againDon't recommend this place to anyone!!!

I only stayed here to get the points through choice hotels. I booked through clc services at a discounted rate. I always get my points for these discounted stays at every other choice hotel I stay at. The manager on duty refused to take my rewards number. He said that it's a discounted rate and I wouldn't get the points. I mentioned that this isn't a problem at any other choice hotel that I stayed at. He just lied to me with a straight face and said to me that he could not add in my rewards number. So if you like being lied and being rude to this is the place for you. The Holiday Inn Express down the street takes clc. I'll be staying there next time, they have better rooms, customer service, and breakfast.

A Disheartening Experience at Quality Inn Dodge CityI recently visited the Quality Inn in Dodge City, Kansas, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. I feel compelled to share my encounter with the Owner/General Manager, Druv Bkata, in the hope that others may be spared from a similar ordeal.Upon approaching the front desk to address a reservation matter, I was met with an astonishing level of rudeness and disrespect from Mr. Bkata. His behavior escalated quickly, and within an unbelievably short span of three minutes, the situation had deteriorated to the point where law enforcement was called, solely based on the fact that I am a Black male. Mr. Druv stated “ I knew you were a black from our phone call ” This deeply distressing incident left me traumatized and questioning the treatment I received. I need a refund from this terrible place of business. Blatant discriminatory, and racist practices happening at this location. To make matters worse, my attempts to voice my concerns through reviews have been met with frustration. Both my review of the hotel interaction and my wife’s reviews have been inexplicably removed on a daily basis. The lack of responsiveness from Choice Hotels only compounds the distressing nature of my experience. In light of these troubling events, I urge anyone considering a stay at the Quality Inn Dodge City to think twice. The behavior exhibited by the Owner/General Manager, coupled with the apparent lack of accountability from the hotel chain, creates an environment that is far from welcoming. It is my sincere recommendation to steer clear of this establishment and seek accommodation elsewhere.May this review serve as a cautionary tale and contribute to a more respectful and inclusive hospitality industry. I will report this to the BBBSincerely,[Rico M]

UPDATE from my original review-Unfortunately, my husband received a call from Drew on Monday 8/14/23 at (stated to be the manager) 6:40pm without provocation or requesting any form of call from Quality Inn. Drew verbatim stated "I've been waiting all day for you to come and kick my a**** My husband never stated that in any form however, did state - that he would go and try to resolve this situation in person - again not in threatening manner whatsoever (he would never let this type of situation result in violence). My husband decided to stop at the Quality Inn to see if he could talk to a manager in person (not knowing Drew was the manager). From there Drew was very rude/unprofessional and quickly proceeded to to state that he would call law enforcement on my husband (no provocation other than trying to resolve the issue below). This is a threat that cannot be taken lightly due to my husband being a black man- and even as a white woman I do not feel safe staying at the Quality Inn with my family. We will be escalating this situation due to the clear lack of any sort of professionalism and on racial profiling. This is unacceptable to have such a significant threat being thrown around when my husband did not do anything to provoke this situation.Original post-Extremely Disappointed with Quality Inn Dodge City's Customer ServiceI recently had a reservation at Quality Inn Dodge City, and I must express my profound disappointment with the level of customer service I received. My experience has left me frustrated and dissatisfied.Firstly, I attempted to cancel my reservation within the 24-hour window of making it. Unfortunately, despite numerous attempts, no employee answered the phone at the hotel within that period of time. This lack of responsiveness was concerning and prevented me from adjusting my plans accordingly to their cancellation policy. In my effort to resolve the situation, I promptly reached out to Priceline, the third-party booking site through which I made the reservation. Surprisingly, I managed to contact Priceline and explain my situation before the 24-hour period had even passed. I was hopeful that they could assist in modifying my reservation to the correct date, as it was an honest mistake - I had booked the right day but the wrong month. Priceline customer service was wonderful however, was also not able to get in touch with Quality Inn either due to them again, not answering their phones. However, my hopes were dashed when I encountered yet another roadblock. The front desk worker (Drew) at Quality Inn Dodge City outright refused to grant me a refund or even allow me to change my reservation to the intended date. This lack of flexibility and understanding was disheartening, to say the least even though we explained the issue with the lack of anyone answering the phone earlier.I had expected a certain level of customer service and flexibility, especially given the circumstances and the fact that I was still within the 24-hour cancellation window. Instead, I found myself facing an unyielding stance that left me no choice but to proceed with the original reservation. As a traveler who values fair and accommodating customer service, my experience at Quality Inn Dodge City has been far from satisfactory. The inability to cancel or adjust my reservation due to a lack of employee responsiveness, and the subsequent refusal to accommodate my genuine mistake, has left me deeply disappointed in the quality of service provided by this establishment.I hope that this review serves as constructive feedback for Quality Inn Dodge City, prompting them to reevaluate their customer service practices and policies. Travelers deserve a positive and flexible experience when dealing with hotels, and unfortunately, my recent encounter fell far short of those expectations.

this place is terrible. if this is the only place available go to the next town We thought our tv didnt work. I reprogramed the remote 3 times and even got new batteries from the front desk.Turns out you just have to be about 2 feet from the sensor for it to work there is hardly any water pressure which caused our toilet to back up there is no elevator the breakfast is a joke the pool is a joke and the frontage road you're right next to serves as the local dragstrip. the staff was friendly that was the only nice thing about it.

I'd give zero stars if that was an option. My mom and I rented two rooms and ended up on separate floors. The rooms were dirty the staff not friendly. The carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in quite a while. One room was a handicap room, which we did not need. It had a shower chair that looked like a man had trimmed his beard all over it and the shower and housekeeping didn't feel the need to clean it up. The same room also had pee on the comforter. The other room also had stains in the comforter along with the room just not being clean. When we told the front desk person in the morning, there was no offer to make it right or that he even cared. The hotel was noisy with people drinking and talking in the hallway almost all night and people in the parking lot playing music in their cars. This hotel is shady and gross. The only thing it has going for it is the location. We definitely will not be staying in here again.

For 120 bucks a night, we were staying two days. We are Choice Privileges Platinum Members. We had requested a ground floor room. Checking in, they had given us a room on the second floor... so in 93° heat, we loaded the luggage cart to the gills!! Then asked the desk clerk where the elevator was. "We don't have one." She answered. Both of us, in our 60's, carried two coolers, and all our luggage in seven trips up and down the stairs. The next morning we needed to do a load of laundry. I asked at the desk where the guest laundry was. They don't have laundry either!! They have a pool and hot tub, but when you open the door, I must say, I haven't smelled that strong of a dirty-socks locker-room smell since High School. No way we were getting in any water in there! If all you want is a clean room, they are good for that, but as far as anything else, I give them zero stars. I thought it was illegal for a public building with upper floors to not have an Elevator? Welcome to the "New America"... so sad...Noteworthy details: No elevator. No honoring request for seniors to have a ground floor room!!No laundry. Worst stay of our multi-state vacation!!
