I always liked this store till yesterday. It had just snowed and my inner child came out alil and I did a dounut in back of parking lot after making sure no one was near me. A teenage boy was shoveling snow and seen me. I parked and as my 63 year old mother got out to go in started yelling at her. Not talking or asking yelling at the top of his voice ( Don't you ever do that again! Do you understand me! ) She got back in the truck. I tired to tell the kid I get it and no one was near me. Also tried to tell him to calm down. I get it I did wrong. I know there are better places for a dounut... But I also feel this was totally the wrong way to talk to customers and especially a elderly woman. If this is how store employees are trained there I have no need to return. Family Dollar is down the street no real loss.

Decent store. Hate the notification bell/noise maker, it's annoying after about 10 secs.

I had been to this dollar store for over a year now and every time I go in there but a couple of Employees will let me put my phone number in before they start pushing buttons.

Went in to dollar general 6-16-2023 payed the lady with a 20 then looked down on the floor and seen a 20.00 there, being the honest person I was taught to be I asked her if she dropped it or if I did? I went ahead and asked her to keep it in case. She called me later that night and told me I must have dropped because her drawer was 20.00 long and she'd put it in the safe with my name on it. I went in 6-17-2023 to pick it up and she said she made a mistake. So now when I got home I counted my cash because I knew exactly how much I had and came up 20.00 short. So be sure you don't drop any money on the floor there because you'll never get it back, they'll claim it. They have totally lost all business, I don't deal with thieves or companies that condone it. On top of that I'm a disabled veteran on a very limited income.. we'll they can kiss this veterans hind end.

Used the self checkout and tried to use digital coupons ($7 worth). They wouldn’t load. Asked the employee if there was a way they could review the app and manually add them - was told no. The system is glitching out. Asked about just being rung up on a regular register and was told the regular registers had not been loading coupons either. I was patient and polite about it and just paid regular price for my items. I recommend using Family Dollar if you can help it - at least they’ll override if a coupon is not working! Pretty disappointing.
