“So, there we were on our bikes, heading E/B from Colorado back home in southern Ontario. Our route took us along KS 383 towards US36. Not many choices for gasoline as this out in the rural boonies. Getting low on gas, we tried this place. Got our gas and were treated to local personality. The guy running the place was dry; drier than a desert. No humor and definitely not impressed with two Canadians on bikes in KS farmland. But, hey. We were there for the gas and not the conversation. I'd actually like to go there again and say hi. No complaints from us!”
