“We had a wonderful overnight stop at the Historic Wolf Hotel and really enjoyed having an entire suite to ourselves - the Elvis theme was a real plus! We had fun visiting the underground speakeasy in the evening and want to thank Chris again for his hospitality (and for recommending the Seelye mansion at our next stop in Abilene - we loved it). “Service is very hospitable every time I have been here.This historic underground speakeasy saloon is a great piece of historic value! This is from the Prohibition Era. If you haven't been here before then, you should try it out for sure!They have old-fashioned drinks available and a full bar to get your go-to favorites.The only downside is that the speakeasy is only open from 7p to 10p. It is probably due to the lack of people that do come in on a regular basis. They do cater to event parties.Besides the drinks, you can order chips and salsa and a huge pretzel with their homemade beer cheese for dipping. Yum.”
