I really like this store in Ellis, KS. The owner always stops to say hello and visit with the customers. Very friendly and usually Makayla is working and always greets us when we walk thru the door, and is just a great person to work at the grocery store. We do a lot of our shopping at Hometown in Ellis and will continue to do so, we support our town store because of these people.

It was a very friendly atmosphere they had everything I needed in such a small store I would highly recommend coming here with there very low prices and large selection of groceries

After deciding to avoid Dillons and Walmart after their mask mandate, I headed over to Ellis Kansas to the Hometown Food Center. I found everything that was on my list and was greeted with such friendliness and helpfulness that I will definitely be back!!! Now everyone who knows me, knows that I do large scale cooking and baking and I found every single item on my list at this awesome store!! Many thanks for the friendly greeting from Jeff and all of your employees! I’m proud to be your new customer

ELLIS Hometown Food Center is a very clean store full of friendly, helpful people. Jeff tried to keep the shelves stocked and prices down. He has even started a pick up and delivery for grocery’s during these trying times
