It's difficult to see the tracks but it's a nice stop to stretch and see the High Plains.

History is fascinating. To imagine what folks in wagon trains faced as they traversed this land years ago is unimaginable. The tracks are hard to make out as they are really just indentations after all these years. Would be helpful if there was signage indicating where the tracks are. Worth a quick stop.

NPS signs mostly unreadable, badly damaged, original plaques still good condition. Plenty of yucca plants around and long native wild grass, couldn't clearly see wagon ruts.
