The facility is nice, however, it is extremely unorganized. I went here 11 years ago on a full-ride scholarship and recently decided I wanted to go back to school. I went to get information from the admissions office and they informed me that somehow they must have messed up my scholarship way back then and now I have a balance of $700 I have to pay them before I can even consider going there again. I asked them if they could look up what got messed up in the system for this to happen but they said it was too long ago and there was nothing they could do. I would just have to pay it. I recommend if you do decide to go here to be sure you have them triple check everything in the business office financial department before you sign your life over to them.

My granddaughter went her for not even a full year because the people in the town were disrespectful and rude and she was fed up with it. She told one of the counselors she want to drop all class since she found a way better college that will actually accommodate her schedule but they will not stop harrassing her. She is still receiving emails and text messages. STOP! It's becoming harassment! ?

WORST COLLEGE EVER!!!!! They don't care about their students and they don't listen to them either and the teachers never give enough time to get anything done and it's horrible when you have to work or you have children to take care of. I wouldn't ever recommend this college to anyone. ????????

My family has gone here before me and let me tell you, they did it while having kids. This place is amazing. I am currently going to college here now and as infatuated with it as I am it is still school and is still class. Yes, I admit, I get bored and tired of it with their 8am classes and their need for Freshman Orientation in sections. I am in the 2nd 8 weeks section and already have learned the fundamentals of how to work around Blackboard and Gizmo. I also may add I had classes in the first 8 week section and those teachers taught me how to work around all the things online related. The teachers are amazing and the staff behind them are as well. I am doing this whole college thing on my own and financial aid has been there to answer every question I had as well as advising. Freshman Orientation is NOT needed. :( But alas I deal with it because I am a broke college student that is required to take this cursed class.

Hands down, best decision I’ve ever made was picking Fort Scott. The only down side is I wish this school could be a university. Picking a next step college was tough when compared to this school - literally in all areas. I contemplated just getting a second associates! The teachers are hands down amazing, all staff in any department you go to - dining, fees, bookstore are all super friendly. I came down and was on the rodeo team as well and I’ve never had a better head coach at any sport.
