About Harbor Freight Tools
Harbor Freight Tools is a store offering a quality and economy line of tools at very competitive pricing with regular sales and deep discounts. It is not a high-end tool retailer but is considered great for a shade tree mechanic, hobbyist, or DIYer. Many customers enjoy coming to look at the different tools available. The service is described as really good, the store is laid out simply and kept very clean, and the restrooms are also nice and clean. The Inside Track Club membership is noted as being worth it for the savings. While some tools are cheap imports, many find them sufficient for regular use, offering unbeatable value where you could break and replace a tool multiple times for less than a premium brand. A common criticism is that the store can be a deadzone for phone service, and occasionally it can be hard to find items or get immediate employee assistance.
