Upon leaving a credit card for "incidentals," I was surprised to see a $60.00 charge on my card. I understand the "incidentals." However, we used no "incidentals." Unfortunately, I used multiple towels to absorb the water that the shower curtain did not contain in the shower. I was told two different stories. One, we had "stolen" three towels. The second story was that items had been removed from the room. The only item that was moved within the suite was the paper tissue box. I used the tissues. My wife and I did not "steal" any towels. We did not remove any items from the room - except for the disposable coffee cup that I used! I do not recommend using this Inn and Suites. Even with calling the corporate office, I have yet to have satisfaction from Best Western. For me, satisfaction will be a full refund of the $60.00 charge on my credit card.

A very beautiful motel, starting with a wonderful lobby entrance, lots of seating and lounge are! Our room was so comfortable and clean.the shower head huge and the softest spray ever. This is one motel I can recommend to everyone. Very reasonable rate, first class accommodation! A note to the host, please oil the bathroom door hinges, they squeak. I would love to stay longer.Rooms: Main level floor room has a very tall ceiling and has a ceiling fan, very cool feel and comfy beds

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I expected a mainstream hotel with throw-away plates, mediocre rooms, and generic breakfast. That was not this place. When I walked in, the hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The room was spacious, modern, clean, and new. The next morning I was very happy to see actual plates and silverware in the breakfast area. The ladies working made homemade salsa for the eggs (delicious!). The pancakes from the machine were actually very good and the kids loved seeing it work. There was more variety than the normal continental breakfast. What really made it, though, was how kind the people working there were. My family always travels through Garden City when we drive from Colorado to Oklahoma for the holidays since we like the zoo and indoor waterpark. This will be our go-to hotel now.

Stayed Friday night. We called about 9:30pm to let the hotel know we wouldn’t be there until about 12:30am. The lady I spoke with told me that was ok and that they have someone at the desk 24/7. I walked in the door at 12:34am to check in and no one was at the front desk. I waited until 12:45am and then I called the front desk phone. Before I called, I yelled out twice “Hello?”… when I called, it was after the 4th ring that the lady appeared from somewhere in the back. I got a hi and was that you calling the phone? I said yes, and told her I was there to check in. She asked my name and then handed me a paper to sign and handed me my cards. I asked where I needed to go to get to our rooms, whether through the lobby or a side door or the back? She said the back and left it at that. No offer to tell us which direction to take once we were in the back door, where the elevator was, etc. We made it to our room on the third floor without her help but I was beyond annoyed between the wait to check in, and lack of information. The room met our needs. We didn’t eat breakfast there. There was quite a bit of noise from people going up and down the hall after 1-2am. Overall, it was a good stay but I was pretty irritated with the check-in.

Good service, clean room, great breakfast. They have a bar and business center where you can access email and print (handy for flight info). The pool was a great temperature and the hot tub was nice and big. Jets on the hot tub didn't seem to be working when we were there, but still very nice to fit the whole group in (8 of us) with room to spare after being on the road. We stayed for 2 days.Rooms: Big rooms, kinda small bathrooms relative to room size, but adequate.

Great, Clean, Well Kept. The staff was very friendly and everything was just outstanding. They had a little lobby bar and a nice pool area. Break was good as well.

You would think that one of the most expensive hotels in this area would have been better. The person at the counter was super sweet but had her child with her and that the bar is usually open but apparently she was the bartender too and since she had her child she couldn't tend to bar, so the bar wasn't open. The room was nice but dated. T.V. channels worked off and on and there are no smart TVs so no streaming of any kind. We were excited to watch a series of ours but that didn't happen and then couldn't go to the pool because the kids that were staying there for tournament and how loud it was. Couldn't enjoy the hot tub either because of that. Every time we flush the toilet the sink with gurgle and then when you put water in the bathroom sink a terrible Rusty undescribable smell came up from the sink. My husband thanks someone came into the room while he was in the shower with the no service on the door. Lastly, pancakes showed on the menu and they were not. Of course it was the one thing we were looking forward to. All in all just not the best experience if you had to stay in Garden City you might consider somewhere else.

My husband & his brother stayed at the Best Western in Garden City, Kansas Saturday, September 16th, 2023.They came for the car show & Cannonball Run.The cost of the room was $180!When they checked into their room, they found a Papa John's plate, 2 half drank waters & a half eaten bag of gummy worms! In the bathroom, there was a container of partially used dental floss! There wasn't any shampoo, soap or plastic cups in the bathroom. They also couldn't find the TV remote, when they did it was in a plastic bag!Obviously, the room hadn't been cleaned! This is completely unacceptable at any rate, especially for $180 a night!

The hotel was easy to find. It was in a location with a lot of places to eat. The hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was warm, and they would write out what they will offer the next day. We swam in their pool which was fun, and the hot tub was large. We worked out in the weight room which had a lot of machines. Unfortunately the treadmill and elliptical machine were not wanting to go into a program to start (or else I was missing a step!), but I won't hold that against them because I'm sure most people do not use the exercise room anyway!

When i checked in, i waited at front counter for 5 minutes, no bell or anything. Called the front desk from my cell. Clerk came around the corner and looked annoyed. Was only 9pm or so, not even that late. She had some snippy answers, especially when i asked for s map of rooms so i knew where to park. Apparently thats beneath best western....Was trying to study with a small group and got kicked out of breakfast area. Apparently you have to pay to use the table... $50 per person(room), there was 5 of us. Hell no. This place is all about nickel and diming the customer.Upon check-out i asked for a paper reciept, but was denied because it was a "special rate".... i needed that for work. ... whatever, guess $840 for 5 nights is a special rate there... seems like Robbery to me.Tiles loose in bathroom. Calking around tub seams have huge gaps. Sheets were clean. Beds were clean. Housekeeper opened a cooler, leaving a towel corner under lid allowing for my dry ice to get used up considerably faster. (Which is impossible to find in SW Kansas btw)We will not be using this place in the future if i have any say in it.

The room was great. We did have problems at check in. I was charged 400 and then they tried to charge me again for the 100 fee for deposit. I pointed out that was already listed on the receipt for the first charge.
