The Comfort Inn in Garden City is described by guests as a convenient place to stop while traveling, with stores, restaurants, and a gas station close by. Experiences with the rooms vary. Many guests found them clean, quiet, and comfortable, equipped with a big TV and good Wi-Fi. Others reported issues with outdated facilities, a malfunctioning air conditioner, a loud bathroom fan, and a refrigerator that did not get cold. Parking can be tight and congested, especially during construction. Feedback on breakfast is mixed. Some guests appreciated the hot options, including scrambled eggs, sausages, and a waffle maker, noting good low-carb choices. Others were disappointed to find the "grab and go" breakfast shut down early or were unimpressed by the setup. A consistent highlight across reviews is the staff, who are repeatedly praised as being amazing, nice, very helpful, friendly, and professional, often going out of their way to assist guests. While some visitors were very pleased and plan to return, others left disappointed and stated they would not stay again.
The room we got was clean but smelled funny. There was a noise like water was running in the wall. It was very annoying.
