We work with several banks around town and never have trouble with any of them EXCEPT this bank. This bank NEVER answers the phone it is truly ridiculous. So unprofessional to not answer the phone as a bank. Even more unprofessional to not return messages when left on the voicemail.

While looking for the phone number on line, I noticed that they had a ton of one star reviews. I read through them and had to wonder why so many people reported experiences opposite of what I had experienced.We have done business with this bank for many years. We have always found their honesty, accuracy, attention to detail, courtesy, professionalism, and progressiveness to be exceptional.Sadly, when people are satisfied, they are less likely to write a review. Commerce Bank in Garden City is an awesome bank to do business with. Once you get to know the people in this branch they definitely know how to take care of your financial needs. They are all very polite and treat you with respect.

Formal complaint filed. It appears that the only way to get this organization to do anything whether it is due to apathy, incompetence, or something reminiscent to Wells Fargo underhandedness is to use external resources.

Always make sure to keep your receipts. They ALWAYS deposit money in the wrong account every single time I would deposit in "my" account. Finally had enough closed my savings account.

Did not have a good day with this bank. Got no where with my mothers bank information and they lost her paperwork twice. The assistant manager was not helpful at all. She did not sound knowledgeable in what she was doing and top of it, she looked very annoyed with me for asking questions. I don't understand why the bank have someone that does not know what she is doing and on top of it be upset with me. Once I get my mothers accounts straighten out I am pulling her out of this bank. Sorry Commerce but you should really look at your reviews people are not happy with your staff.

ALWAYS count your money before you drive away because they make a lot of mistakes and make excuses instead of just saying they messed up this has happened more than three times times and talking to someone above them is a waste of time.I would not put my money in their bank if they were the only bank in Garden City

Terrible customer service to say the least. If you ever have a problem it will be weeks before resolved & atleast 2 or 3 hours on hold after 30 or more attempts to contact them.

If I could leave half a star I would. Customer service was not good. Lots of hassle just to cash a cashier's check issued from them. Almost like they didn't want to. I will never do business with this bank again.

Horrible customer service. Will not work with you. I'm leaving after ten years and nobody even bothered to ask why. I've been denied for four loans over the years, all of which I was able to obtain in other places quite easily. When I had a company charge my card without my permission, they waited till the last minute and denied my claim. When Hastings had a glitch and charged my card twice I had to fight tooth and nail to get the overdraft charge removed. Golden Plains is much more accommodating to SW Kansans
