Hours: The Economy Inn is a clean and comfortable place to stay at a very reasonable price. The rooms are freshly painted with wonderful carpet and great beds. It is a family business where the owners are very nice and do all the cleaning themselves. Check-in is personal and efficient. The location is safe and quaint, with a field of cattle next to the inn. It is close to almost everything, with a family dollar, subway, restaurants, a gas station, and a city lake and park all within walking distance. The establishment has improved greatly under its new ownership. While some minor issues with phone service or room upkeep have been noted, it is generally considered a great and reliable place to stay in the area.
