“When Southwest Airlines cancelled almost all of their flights across the country, my friends and I thought our trip to Denver was ruined. We tried to find rental cars all throughout the Kansas City area and were unsuccessful so we broadened our search first to Lawrence, then Topeka, Manhattan, and Salina, and we were unable to find a car anywhere.Finally, we called this location and a lady whose name I wish I remembered answered the phone and informed me that they did not have any rental cars but she was very caring about my situation and gave me the name and phone of an employee at the Hertz location in Hays, which ended up having the rental car that we needed for our trip and ended up enabling us to go. I am very thankful that she took the time to help me out when she didn’t have to at all since it didn’t benefit her or her company. Her help was greatly appreciated.”
