“I’d like to commend the current manager and employees as in the past this store was not pleasant to be in. It looks and feels much better and they’ve taken the time to clean it and make the aisles organized and easy to shop. Keep up the good work, it’s quite noticeable!”

“I was happy they had some Halloween candy promotional items out on display and also including Mountain Dew VooDoo 3. There was some pumpkin spice covered pretzels and few other new items. Herein lies the problem, regular everyday shelf items are out of stock. Frito Lay chip aisle completely blown out. Things you are searching for that are normally available are not available at all. This means you have to come back later or spend time going somewhere else.”
“This store has come a long way in the last 6 months. In the past, it was a mess. Shelves not stocked and just an unkempt like to the entire store. They remodeled and apparently hired some excellent employees who have turned this store completely around. I hardly ever went in here because it was a mess. Now it's so much cleaner, organized and they have the best, most helpful employees. I'm impressed by the turn around. Go check them out. They carry just about anything you need. It's like a little neighborhood store. They carry meats like hamburger, milk frozen foods and all the supplies and condiments a party needs.”

“This is a good corner store. I like that it's local and it has basics + other stuff too. I wish there was a buzzer or a bell to call an employee to the register. I do like the new produce section that's starting up !! Can't wait to have that more often to rely on for fresh groceries and not so much processed food.”

“I think they have better prices then Dollar General. I used to go to the one on 2nd & Seneca. The last 2 times I was in there you couldn't even walk through the aisles because of freight. They must have lost their previous manager. He was good and store always looked so nice! Not anymore, almost a fire hazard! Stopped going there. The one on 2nd & West St. has better management. You can shop at least without having to move carts out of the way.”

“Great store. I went in there looking to buy makeup and self-care items. It was perfection, $1.25 for each product. I got home and tried out my makeup and it works scary well. I believe the service there was so polite. It was even well stocked even though it was morning and they had most of the stuff I wanted to try.”
“It was good it was just a little empty and something surprising is that when we got there and we first walked in it was empty in the front but what they had was good spent 20 dollars on 7 things not bad”
“Some things I buy here for a better price than say Walmart or Dillon’s. And if you get a five dollar coupon on your receipt you can go back that upcoming Saturday and get $5 off your total purchase price of $25 or more. Every week the register spits out a five dollar coupon if you shop before the upcoming Saturday. So, you need a rug or two or sweatshirt or stock up on TP and detergent or whatever. If total is at least $25 you get five dollars off with said coupon. You’re welcome! : )”

“I absolutely love going to the Dollar General,but my favorite location is the one located at 47th and Broadway.I just love the people there,because they treat people like people and not just being like(oh no not another customer/inconvenience).I have came at times when the line has had more then 6 people and the other employee was on break or didn’t realize there was a line long of people,but the employee that was checking people out didn’t get frustrated/overwhelmed and kept her cool and never once treated a customer wrong in anyway or fashion.That is the reason I like/love this Dollar General location 150% more then any other location.I will drive by 2 or 3 Dollar General’s to come to my favorite location.
