Most dysfunctional bank ever. Can't even get a closing date on my mortgage. Shop for your mortgage elsewhere. Read the reviews on several other platforms. The have serious problems.

Absolutely terrible customer service. My business debit card was stolen so I had to get a new one. They could not print the card in house, so it had to be mailed. Fine. They could not give me credit for 2 weeks for the money that was stolen. fine. It took about a month to get the new card. Fine... Then I called to activate the card. The automated system could not activate, so I was sent to customer service. The informed me they could activate it, but could not set the pin and I had to call back for that. I called back and automated system says it cannot set the pin and I have to talk to customer service. I talk to another rep that says they cannot set the pin, I have to go through the automated setup. I finally call the branch number. They cannot help me either. You cannot set the PIN at an ATM, I am told you have to go through the automated system. I try that again and again I am told the automated system cannot help me and I will be forwarded to a customer service agent. The agent told me they can't help me. Maybe they should rename the bank to " I CANT"

Heartbreaking customer service!! We made a switch to BBV over a year ago for our Girl Scout troops. Our accounts were set up on a $0 service fee per month waiver at origination. I received a service fee of $15 per account this month, we have 3 accounts, 3 troops. After speaking with the new manager at the NKC branch, Rena she is only able to accommodate one account since " Things are Changing". We came to BBV because they were Women led, and because they were a community bank. This isn't very community friendly. Our scouts only fundraise one to two times a year and they hardly NEVER hold balances over $1,500.00. We will be closing our accounts and moving them to US Bank that are able to house our non profit accounts. If you thought this was a good idea, you were wrong. Its not the same feeling now as when Bob and Wendy were there.

After receiving a phone call from a bank employee and searching the banks Webb page I tried to change two separate money market accounts to new ones offering a higher return. I was informed that the higher rate was for new customers or for existing ones moving money from a different location. I asked if it was possible to close the accounts and open new ones at the higher rate and was told no I then asked if closing the accounts and depositing the money in a different bank was my only option to receive a higher return and she answered in the affirmative…I’ll be closing these two accounts in addition to two others.

When we got a loan from Bank of Blue Valley, no one told us we would be unable to pay the loan using an external account. They make it extremely difficult to pay the loan unless you open up a checking account with them to use to pay the loan. I've paid the loan using an external account twice but this month they tell me that's not possible. Terrible customer service. I hate this bank and regret working with them but now I'm stuck. They are making it very difficult to just pay my loan! Never thought it would be this difficult to give a bank money.

Disappointing. They lost my payment and then refused to call me back after I was patient and kind about the issue

They "misplaced" a car payment I sent them, and the first I heard of it, they had contacted my brother. No one co-signed the loan, I never understood why they went after him (they eventually found the payment). Also, they treated people involved in the Toon Shop closure very poorly. Wish I could give them zero stars.

Bank of Blue Valley was totally great until their acquisition. The ATMs were great until the acquisition. After this they offered ATMs in Target etc. You had to go into a store no convenient drive throughs...no reciprocal banks. The bank was always open when other banks were closed, drive through was always opened late. I lost my debit card, bank was closed couldn't get any help until Monday. I'm sad that Bank BV is now the same as every other bank..They are no longer unique.

I had a car loan through Bank of BV. I payed it off and was told that I would receive email confirmation and electronic title. However, I never received either. I have tried to call multiple times and they keep telling me my loan counselor will be in touch with me soon. I have yet to be contacted by said loan counselor. I will never be doing business here again and will not recommend.

This bank is just not the same as it used to be prior to acquisition. I tried to call the local branch and waited on the line for 12 min. before anyone could pick up.
