I’ve never had a bad experience with this location until tonight. When we got home, we realized our order was incorrect, so I called the store to address it.
First, the automated system was actually the most pleasant part of the entire call. Once I was connected to the store, the person who answered the phone greeted me with, “Hello, what do you want?” I was taken aback and asked, “Umm, is this Casey’s in Hill City?” Her response: “Well yeah, duh, who else did you call?” I mentioned that this wasn’t a very professional way to answer a business phone, and from there, the conversation just went downhill — she remained rude and dismissive while I tried to explain the issue with my order.
I asked to speak with the manager, hoping for better treatment. Unfortunately, the manager — Brad, I believe — picked up the phone with the exact same attitude. I tried to remain patient, but he also seemed irritated and dismissive from the start. He offered to write my name in “the book” so the store manager would know there was an issue and could contact me if I ordered again. Honestly, after that experience, I have no interest in ordering again.
I asked if the store manager could just call me directly to discuss the situation. Brad told me they can’t do that — but somehow it’s fine for the manager to call me only if I place another order? That just doesn’t make sense.
Overall, I was shocked by how unprofessional and rude both employees were, especially when I was simply trying to resolve a mistake. I’m glad there’s now another food option in town — and one that also makes pizza. My kids will be happy, and I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Ice machine might as well be a slushy machine when its actually working. Can't seem to find the right time to get pizza off the rack. Always empty. Last summer i walked in and there was a heated meeting in the kitchen about always having 3 pizzas on the rack at all times. Nothing has changed.

11/05/2023 pizza at 11pm was AMAZING and delicious. The items on a drink were priced wrong. I showed the cashier were I found the item with the price tag he acknowledged it was priced wrong but did not change the price!11/06/2023 10:51 pm NO PIZZA I asked the cashier and the cook that was boxing donuts for himself to take home for free, why the lights were off in the kitchen and there was no pizza. The guy boxing donuts stated, "look we close at midnight I ain't tryna be here past that. When I'm the cook we shut down a little sooner" I grabbed a drink and slim Jim purchased it and left.The night shift cook on 11/05/2023 needs to be recognized for amazing delicious pizza! Even late at night! It was fresh and delicious!

I have gone to this location several times. I always get a 32 oz soda and it’s always been 0.99. Yet somehow a 32 oz REFILL costed me 1.73. If somebody can explain that to me I’d gladly appreciate it.

The beer is super Cold, well priced.The thin crust pizza that Gavin made me was Perfect...i am picky - so that is an accomplishment

When I went into the store a few days ago to pick up some food, the cashier was just talking to whoever was in the office and not paying me any sort of attention. Didn't say hi, didn't ask me for my receipt, didn't say have a good day. It was effing rude

I went into Casey's General Store in Hill City and bought a salad. There was only one cashier working but two other employees were in the office. The line was backed up and the wait time was way too long. When I sat down to eat my salad I only took a few bites because it was warm and slimy. I just hope I don't get food posioning!
