“I had a great stay at the Schweitzer Hotel! From my initial contact by phone to the day checked out, Kathy could not have been a better host. She was great fun, and I was immediately made to feel welcome when making the reservation and again the moment I walked though the door. The hotel itself is in a wonderful, historic building, and my room was spotless, comfortable, quiet, and supplied with all the necessary amenities. I had a fantastic night's sleep; I wish I slept so well at home. Kathy was also very accommodating and helpful in making local recommendations--and always with friendly conversation. My stay was at the Schweitzer Hotel was excellent and a highlight of my road trip through the Midwest. I would gladly stay there again and highly recommend it!”

“Great last minute decision!!!! Very friendly very accommodating!!!! Owner has very positive attitude very humble guy! Rooms are very comfortable very spacious not what you would expect pulling in parking lot. Plenty of space between beds, modern heat and air units, surprisingly quiet very efficient and easy to operate! We had room 38 very clean very welcoming completely unexpected 55 inch flat screen roku tv wall mounted with direct TV! Bathroom very clean nice water pressure not the typical white white towels, thicker and comfier towels nice working fridge microwave! Will gladly stay here again and recommend to all friends family and colleagues!!!”
