Poor mail service I moved here last year and changed all my addresses to here ,and now the post office has stopped all the mail coming to my address,I called them twice now, tomorrow going there to figure out why they can't figure out that my mail has been sent back to the sender ,

Every time I have gone into the post office, I was helped quickly and efficiently. There was one issue with a package being returned to Amazon before I had a chance to collect, as it was the weekend, but my other packages have arrived fine.

Mm this will be long, but let me first say that there are some very kind and helpful people there. Our previous carrier, who is now working in the facility, Larry, is wonderful! We miss him!
Now to the not so fun part. So our tiny dog was Sneaking out of a small hole in our fence. I will be the first to admit that we should've fixed the issue when we first realized it. He would bark at Larry, but he was harmless and Larry played with him, which is part of why we let it be for the time. Now that we have a new carrier, he complained about the dog and said he saw him coming out of the hole and we said thank you and that we were aware, but hadn't gotten it fixed yet. We got a letter in the mail shortly after, stating that if our dog was outside, the carrier would not deliver mail, and that if he ever bites or becomes aggressive that we would have to get a po box. So, again, our fault, but we ended up dealing with multiple surgeries/hospitalizations within a short time, so we hadn't gotten to it yet. We then got another letter stating that our mail is being held "due to an attack"?!?! And that we needed to either fix the fence or get a po box/mailbox. Lemme tell ya. My dog is the biggest scaredy-cat I've ever seen. If a stranger reaches out to him, he cowers. He has never attacked anyone and probably never will. So naturally we went to the post office to discuss this. We had actually already fixed the fence right before we got this letter. So we let them know this, and they told us that we have to put up a mailbox and they'll continue to deliver, claiming that it was a hazard or danger. We showed them the pictures of the fixed fence to prove that there is literally no danger (& wasn't before either, but that's beside the point ?) So anyway, they had no answers for my questions and refused to budge so I guess we're putting up a mailbox now. The kicker, apparently he still has to deliver our boxes to our door... and I get boxes usually at least twice a week, often more. So apparently he can deliver boxes safely to our porch, but not mail?! Make it make sense.... ????♀️
If there was another option to use, we'd 100000% use it as we've never had any issues with any other carrier, but alas there is only one choice for post so I guess it is what it is! One of the worst customer service experiences I've had!

Worst post office in the USA. Don't deliver where ever they feel they don't have to and make it difficult for anyone to resolve anything wrong. Piss poor attitudes as well

Blonde lady working opening on 12/20/23 was incredibly rude. She had the biggest attitude from the start when they opened. If you hate your job, that’s not your customer’s fault and don’t take it out on them. Will be using Joy’s from now out just because of this one woman.

I have spent two weeks just trying to pay the yearly service fee for my employers post office box. Can’t just take a check in and pay for it, have to set it up on line, go through this long process and still have issues. This is ridiculous, to have to go through all of this, just to make a yearly payment.

I have had several damaged packages that had insurance; claim denied. They’ve delivered to the wrong box on multiple occasion. I just had an older lady that works the counter lie to my face about what a document said that sent to me by them over a claim. I had her read it three times(each time leaving out words) before she said it didn’t matter. Hot trash.

I continue getting my neighbors mail,and I don't get any. Wonder where my mail is?? My address is clearly on my mailbox. Guess they can't read.

We weren’t getting our mail for about 3 months and we weren’t sure why. We mostly get junk mail so it wasn’t a big deal to us. I ordered something which I needed Immediately and I finally tracked the package down to the USPS office and they couldn’t find it when I arrived which was very frustrating because this package was time sensitive. I got a call the next day to pick up my package and that’s when I found out that our mail lady says that she finds our 2 aussies to be a threat to her. They gave me 3 months worth of junk mail and proceeded to tell me if I don’t install a mailbox on the curb, they’ll send my mail back to sender. We had no idea that our dogs were a problem. Sometimes we like to have the cool air from outside flow into the house and open our door and leave the screen door shut with the window slightly open. Sometimes when the mail lady walks up, our friendly dogs are there to greet her with friendly excitement. I believe our mail lady is just lazy and looks for reasons not to take a few extra steps to my front door. On separate occasions, we like to greet our mail lady with a friendly smile and a wave and get completely ignored without either of our dogs present. We’re convinced our mail lady is just miserable. I wish you guys would’ve been more professional and informed us about this instead of sending us a notice in the mail then holding it hostage from us.. We thought that was comical. We’re moving soon and all our important mail is taken care of online so… Feel free to send it back ?♂️I attached photos of our “vicious” dogs.. God forbid they jump through and cuddle you to death ?

The Hutchinson post office sucks with every aspect of mail. Picking mail up from post office is always a hassle and the ladies are always rude and in the worst mood ever and the delivery drivers who come to my house always claim they attempt the delivery when I’m literally sitting at my house all day long and they never do. They just drive by and drop off the slip in the mailbox.
