Some medications are great Extended Release but I really prefer my Omeprozole old-school just take on an empty stomach and within 30 minutes balanced. Sprite also helps and I just love your generic Canada Dry and ¡Nice! chips except the BBQ ones are a bit too healthy for my taste in chips but folks oughta know someone (else) is looking for healthier BBQ chips like ¡Nice! There are plenty of yummier options though like Cheddar & Onion 😋

Fun fact: One of the earliest known prescriptions was scribed on a clay tablet in Mesopotamia, estimated to be from around 2400BC. The Paul Harvey rest of the story: that patient is still waiting for Walgreens to fill the prescription. If you are unemployed with literally nothing else to do, this is the perfect place for you. But if you are like most people, let alone most ill people, you don't want to grow old before getting better. Taking forever to get sick people their medicine is not only immoral and unethical, it's contrary to doctors' orders. 1 out of 5 stars, absolutely go somewhere else.

I don’t have enough words to express how frustrated I am when I request automatic refills of my meds, I get numerous automated reminder calls telling me my refill is ready for pick-up by a certain date, yet when I show up before that said date, my medication is not filled and I am then ask to come back later or wait while it is filled!! MY TIME US VALUABLE ALSO…and to top the cake, no one ever seems to know why it is not ready! I am so done with Walgreens Pharmacy! It’s time to change to a pharmacy that respects my time also!!

I'm only giving a 5 star rating because of Jamie Ashley an melody an Brooklyn those 5 make sure things gets done if they ain't there I wouldn't recommend having any medication filled there the older lady that's a Pharmacist Rane will not do her job an she will tell u one thing an put something different in her notes so for the 4 I mentioned at the beginning are the best they go above an beyond to help an get things done thank u to Jamie Ashley Melody an Brooklyn ur the best

Poor customer service and a rude pharmacy tech was told they can not estimate the time to fill a basic tube of antibiotic cream and more or less told to leave and come back when it’s ready that they would notify me by the end of the day if it was ready

An awful experience with the Pharmacy for the second time. Last time the woman working was just plain rude. This time I got there and asked for my prescription, for pain meds for an injury. They said it wasn’t ready. I’m in pain but said “No problem, I will look around a bit.” 20 mins later I check back in. Nope. 10 minutes. Not ready. 15 minutes more, I check back and she says “the pharmacist just has to check it” I come back to the window in 10 minutes and she asks again if she can help me. It’s like Groundhog day in there. Each time I walk out of sight it’s like they’ve never seen me before. I repeat my name for the 5th time, and say “I have been here waiting for my prescription for an hour, could you please see if it’s ready?” She leaves me standing there while she waits on 2 other customers at the drive up window, and then comes back and says that it will be a few more minutes because it has been sent to their Missouri location. (Probably would have gotten it faster if I drove to Missouri) I just stand there waiting and she goes just out of sight and tells the others “She is very impatient.” I just walked out. The pain of dealing with them was as bad as the injury. I’m beginning to understand why the others I work with (who have the same insurance) drive to Bartlesville for their prescriptions. My newest curse upon the scourge of humanity is “May you be forced to deal with the Independence Walgreens Pharmacy!”

Ashly is the worst pharmacy representative I've ever had the displeasure of coming across. She is terribly rude and my husband, who is a vetran, was not able to get his meds because of her. It is my prayer she gets fired before she really harms someone.

The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable about the products they have in their store. Walgreens has a number of different items in their store. It is always fun to see what you can discover when you walk in. I purchase a lot of our vitamins here because of the buy one get one free reward membership.

Easy to shop in, especially for picking up hygiene, OTC meds, or basic food items quickly. Not the cheapest option locally, but very conveniently located in the heart of town.
