Motel 6 Junction City, KS offers a mixed experience for travelers. While the rooms are generally clean and comfortable, with soft beds and pillows, the overall quality and amenities can be hit-or-miss. The check-in process can be a bit awkward, as it is done through a kiosk rather than a traditional front desk. Some guests found this to be a bit jarring, especially when trying to check in late at night. However, the staff is reported to be helpful and attentive, even if they are stretched thin. The rooms themselves are decent, with most guests reporting that they are clean and well-maintained. The showers are also noted to be good, with one guest even comparing it to the one at home. However, some rooms have issues, such as a lack of soap or a malfunctioning air conditioning system. Amenities are also a mixed bag. While the hotel advertises free Wi-Fi, some guests have reported that the connection is slow or non-existent. Additionally, there are no vending or ice machines, and the cable TV selection is limited. The hotel's location is convenient, with several dining options within a short drive. Pets are also welcome, which is a plus for those traveling with furry companions. Overall, Motel 6 Junction City, KS is a decent budget-friendly option for solo travelers or couples, but may not be the best choice for families or those looking for a more comprehensive hotel experience.
Heat was out in original room, was switched with no issues. The kiosk check in was rather awkward but not bad, rooms were clean and in good shape, would stay again
