I am a senior who sometimes doesn't move or think as quickly as I'd like. On a recent visit to CVS at 3902 Main Street in Kansas City, Missouri, Alex, the cashier, was very kind and patient when she checked me out. I very much appreciate that kind of service.

No way to talk to pharmacy by calling. Online says they do walk-in vaccines. In person we were turned away.

It’s Friday night and I get a DoorDash order for this CVS pharmacy to pickup children’s cold & flu medicine and some tea for a customer. I entered the store at 8:55 with my partner we split the list. I headed to the back to find the medicine but could only find one available the other I needed to ask the front desk for assistance. I heard commotion at the front from an agitated black boy , but I disregarded it trying to complete my transaction. Soon after there was literally shouting over the intercom from a heavy set white woman about locking people inside the store and calling the police and a manager to remove us. I laughed to myself thinking she couldn’t be talking to me like that. To my surprise they were harassing me and my fiancé the whole time. The reason it took so long is because they were out of 95% of the items we needed.We made our way to the front of the store and they refused to help us find what we needed. The black boy then approached me and said if it had been a manager they would have told me to drop my items and exit the store. I don’t know what part of hell this store is located but they need to shut it down. I have never been harassed and insulted like that in my life and I’ve worked customer service all of my life and dealt with very upset people. I think that it’s important to value people and they will do the same for you. Anywho, I didn’t make any money and there’s still a kid somewhere who needs medicine. I will definitely come back and shop here and I will be expecting all of the management staff to be present and KCPD to help ensure that I have everything I need after my next shopping experience .

I have to agree with the other one stars here. I have tried three times over the past week (having to find the time to get away from work), and the first two times, after waiting in line I was told that they were all going on lunch break… apparently all at the same time. I was the only person left in line after waiting. Add to this that the lady behind the counter is patently condescending and unpleasant, and it’s a very poor experience.
It looks like, after all these reviews in all this time, CVS could care less, since the issues persist.
It’s a shame, really.

Called the pharmacy. It was 5 minutes before they picked up. The lady barely said hello and then set the phone on the counter where I could hear everything. It set there for 6 minutes then someone put me back on hold without speaking to me or letting me know what was going on. I was on hold another 5 minutes bf I was helped by another lady. Terrible service. They need to hire more help!!
