I had a very frustrating and upsetting experience at the Dollar Tree. While I was at the self-checkout with my three kids, under the age of six including my one-year-old, I was waiting for assistance as the store associate login came up. My son started trying to get out of the basket, so I paused to tend to him. While I was opening the candy that had already been paid for to calm him down and keep him from running around, the associate came over and whispered and told me to hurry up because I was “holding up the line.”
When I asked him why he was whispering in my ear and making comments, he told me that feeding my son was the problem and that I was slowing things down. I pointed out that I had been waiting for assistance for over 10 minutes, but he didn’t seem to acknowledge that. Instead, he asked why I didn’t call for help from another associate, which wasn’t an option as there was no one else around.
As a mother trying to manage my children, I felt disrespected and unfairly judged. His actions were not only unprofessional but also left me feeling humiliated in front of other customers. This behavior was inappropriate and discriminatory. I hope the store takes this seriously and addresses the issue. I will be contacting corporate to file a complaint and hope this situation is resolved.

I can honestly say this store is great to go into. It's big, laid out great, and self checkout, plus I found my new and favorite flavor of peeps in here!! Now to find more if them!!!

This store is closest to my home and while the store offers great value for money, there are some aspects that leave me feeling less than satisfied.One noticeable issue is the lack of the "Dollar Store" green light being turned on outside of the store, creating uncertainty about whether the store is open. The evening manager's approach to closing time is less welcoming, standing at the door well before closing and using a seemingly frowned face to discourage customers. Instead of opening a register, the store relies solely on self-checkout, causing delays despite numerous customers waiting.I believe that a more customer-centric approach, a friendlier atmosphere, and efficient checkout processes would significantly enhance the overall shopping experience. I hope the management considers these points for improvement.

Not happy with only 3 self-checkout stations that are also too close together. And, zero full service checkout was not an option.
