Family Dollar is a store that provides affordable prices and everyday essentials. The store is described as wonderful, well stocked, clean, and well managed by some, with super helpful employees considered like family. Customers report always finding everything they need. However, experiences vary. Some find it an average, decent option, while others note significant drawbacks. The store can be disorganized and have limited product selection compared to larger chains. A major concern is under-staffing, leading to long checkout waits with only one cashier. The store is sometimes described as basically empty of merchandise, with boxes blocking aisles. There are ongoing challenges with shoplifting, often due to under-staffing, and regularly rude customers harassing workers. Loitering and soliciting occur, making shoppers uncomfortable. Banned customers sometimes return, leading to damaged products. Despite employees trying their best to maintain a clean, safe, and positive shopping environment, these issues are difficult to address fully. The workers deserve respect as they manage these daily difficulties.
It's nice location so has been a quick solution a number of times for me. But isn't a discount option in almost anything, likely because of the neighborhood and feels pretty dingy.
The staff can vary greatly on being warm and welcoming and just a zombie while checking you out.

It's the typical family dollar. Items and boxes everywhere. Somewhat rude staff. It is however a good place to stop and get a few various items. The store i went into was kind of dirty and smelled odd.

Reasonable prices. Have a lot of necessities there. Food, hygiene products, household goods, toys for kids. And much more. One of my favorite places to shop.
