On 2/23/2024 I visited the goodyear auto service center 4324 at 1269 west 103rd street kansas city, MO 64114 INVOICE 0000062042 and 0000062043. I took my vehicle in for a safety inspection and was told my tires failed for age. First there is no age requirement for tires to fail safety inspection in MO. Being the technician failed the inspection I decided to let them change the tires and perform an alignment on the 2012 chevy cruze. When I took my car in there were no ses or tire pressure lights on. After picking up the car at closing time I notice the tpms light was on and the car was pulling hard to the left, which was not a problem before they serviced my vehicle. The total charge $709.69 were for tires, inspection, mounting, balancing, tpms rebuild kit and tire disposal. The tires were installed on opposite sides the sensors indicated. I was also charged $86.14 on a separate invoice for my alignment. I checked my tire pressure and found that my front driver tire (installed on passenger side) showed 23 psi, the front passenger (installed on the driver side) showed 31psi. The rear driver tire (installed on the rear passenger side) showed 32 psi. And the rear passenger tire (installed on the rear driver side) showed 35 psi. I called goodyear and was given an excuse that because they work on other cars besides chevy this is common and nothing to worry about. When I asked why the light was on I was told it was because my sensors were not reading correctly, even though I checked them with a digital tire pressure gauge. I asked why the car was now pulling to the side and was given an excuse about my alignment. These problems did not exist before they serviced my vehicle, even when I told them they made excuses saying it was my vehicle and not their working techs error. They asked to come back, I work and cannot take time off again due to them not doing the job correct the first time. I was told tire pressure did not effect the alignment and the alignment could not be done correctly with the tire pressure being wrong. This is something the technician should KNOW and do correctly the first time! This car was vin inspected previously and they did not indicate the tires had any problems. I am seeking a refund for the improper installation and improper alignment done by the company. I will now have to take time from work to take it to a different shop to correct the company's mistakes and have it fixed as it should have been when I paid the company almost $800. Please contact me on what can be done to make this right with my time, stress and anxiety as well as money I will now have to pay another company to repair the problems caused by the technician.

DONT COME HERE unless you want them messing things up on your car. Went in for four new tires, alignment, and an oil change. Took it home and it started vibrating at highway speeds. Suspected the tires weren't properly balanced. I took it to Firestone to have them check and see of the tires need balanced. Turns out firestone can't even complete that service for me because Goodyear stripped out three of my lug nuts. They put THREE wrongly threaded lugs on my car. Now I'm gonna have to pay to get new lugs studs on top of the near thousand dollars I spent. Who knows what else is messed up.

Dropped my car off at Goodyear at 103rd and State Line at 1:00 for a 2:00 appointment for oil change and tire patch. Called at 5 to check status. They told us it would be ready at 6. Come at 6. They haven’t touched it. Said the would finish it tonight if we stay and wait, but won’t give us a timeline. And if we leave, they won’t start in it until tomorrow. Now the tire is flat and we can’t drive it to take it somewhere else. Waited 30 minutes and they told us there were still 2 ahead of us. Asked if we would be first tomorrow if we left it, they said they don't give any of their customers a timeline. Horrible service.Very rude and argumentative.

Not one,not two but THREE appointments we made to have an inspection. What’s the point of an appointment if they won’t honor it and want us to wait 6 hours or try to reschedule us AGAIN. Just take your business anywhere but here

Goodyear is the place to go! Very clean in the waiting area and bathrooms. They have a great staff who cares about there customers, I was extremely thankful when a group of the employees tried to help me fix my tire, unfortunately we could not get it fixed, and it was no bodies fault, just couldn’t do it in the 15 minutes before they closed. However they tried they’re hardest to help me, and I want to say THANK YOU.. I appreciate all of your guys help!

I won’t use anyone else. My car, hubbies car, step daughter and step son’s car all come here. They are always nice and super helpful with everything. I highly recommend this Goodyear!

I came to your center because while traveling from TX to MO for Thanksgiving with family the oil in my Dodge Caravan leaked most of the oil out. I was able to get the vehicle in on Wed. and the service was completed on Friday. They did an excellent job and I believe I can drive back home with what ya'all did for me. I had service during my trip preparations in TX, also relating to the oil mechanisms, therefore I was not charged for the repairs at your center, which was greatly appreciated. Thank you again for helping me with this issue. ❤️

I put my Chevy Express 2500, for alignment on October 28. After 2 hours he call me you need to install 2 tyres in rear . I told now I need only Alignment. After 10 minutes they call me back saying that our alignment system is not able for your van . It’s small. I wonder after 3 hours he realizes there system is not okay? Why they wast my time?

Had my oil change done here. Staff were friendly. They reassured me on a concern that I had on my 05 Toyota Corolla, and provided tips on how I could better handle the oil leak. Timeframe wise- it didn't take longer than the time that they promised me. On a previous experience, it did take a little longer than expected but they gave me a heads up and let me know what's going on and worked with me.

I made an appointment for an alignment, and decided to get an oil change while I was in there. I sat for 2 hours, and then they called me up to tell me my car was done, and handed me the paperwork. Once I got to the car, I read that their alignment machine was out of service, so no alignment was done - this was the sole reason I made the appointment. They didn't once metion this when I made the appointment for an alignment, when I showed up and requested an alignment, or when I was paying. When I went back in to ask about it - no apologies - just told me I could make another appointment for when it'll be up and running again. They also refused to look at the brake work that was done recently by a different good year, since that location is within 25 miles. Said I could either go back to that one, or schedule an appointment at one more than 25 miles away. The customer service is severely lacking.

This shop failed my vehicle inspection trying to charge me a lot of money for repairs. I took my car to another mechanic for a second opinion and there was nothing wrong with it and it passed the inspection. Wouldn't recommend trusting anything they say.

My tire-pressure light came on today, and I'm embarrassed to say that I've never put air in my own tires (and have only used a tire gauge a couple of times). I called these guys on 103rd and was told to come on down and they'd check my tires and fill them as needed for free. And they did! Cheerfully and quickly. Five stars for them!

Avoid them at all costs. In my experience they would rather look incompetent and try to make a buck, then to do the right thing and gain new customers The employees at this location are extremely incompetent. I took my truck in today to get a flat fixed. I had to put a plug in it myself because at the time it was my only option. I should have walked out the door when they told me they could not pull that plug out of the tire and put a patch it. I went against my better judgment. I took time off work to drive my truck there. I get a call an hour later. They told me they could not get the tire off because the lug nuts were rounded off. Two days prior to that I had the tire off using a normal tire wrench (4way) to get those same lug nuts off. They took advantage of the fact that they know those lug nuts are known to swell. I wanted to sell me $60 worth of lug nuts. They proceeded to tell me that they couldn't get them off and they need to be replaced, yet they could get them off to sell me lug nuts. This is probably the worst experience I've had. Their loss I was going to order $1,600 worth of tires from them today. They lost 1600 to make 60.
